Good point. I got excited thinking it was a Netflix production for sure. But no. We'll see. Maybe domestic partners…
we'll see how much space really matters for the story. he's playing a gynecologist in space lol so definitely not a space walk type of an adventure.

Prequel with the same cast makes no sense. It becomes an entirely different genre if they do that. Because season…
that's why it's confusing. they didn't meet before S1 so what would the prequel be about, separate stories? not to mention that we saw what happened to each character in flashbacks.

I'm so confused now. I remember the report that only Lee Si Young would return in the sequel.

Now it appears that Season 2 is a prequel and that more cast is returning - Song Kang and Lee Jin Wook. But why is this a prequel? Why can't the story move forward after that cliffhanger? What's with dramas and prequels? We anticipate SH S2 to see what happened next but nooo, it's a prequel about events that were actually told in flashbacks in Season 1! We anticipate Season 3 of Kingdom but noooo, lets make more prequel movies nobody asked for. Seriously.

That may be your opinion (about LDW) but I strongly disagree (my opinion). It's just that he is really specific…
I noticed he's limited and always actrs the same way - smug, eyebrow raising - so you nailed it that he has a style that isn't for everyone.

i know right, I excpected I WAY worse list lolas for LDW I used to like him but realized how inconsistent he is…
Yeah, after the TOTNT where the real star was Kim Bum and pretty much all supporting actors upstaged him and terrible Jo Boa, and that good cop bad cop drama that barely had any audience, how is he still in Top 100 let alone Top 10?
Cho Na Mar 21, 2022
Surprisingly strong list. Inexplicable love for LDW aside (is he still riding Goblin coattails cause everything he in since is trash?) , there are no planks of wood such as Rowoon and AHS.

This isn't a knock on MDL but on translation of news in general. "positively reviewing" must be a Korean phrase that is literally translated cause it isn't natural to English language. Reviewing or considering without prefix "positively" would be enough cause those actions are positive themselves as in showing interest. It's as if someone said "X has negatively rejected the offer" although rejection is a negative action itself.

There are some other very starnge translations. For example, character descriptions always sound like word salad most likely because phrases are awkward when translated literally. Again, not MDL fault because I suspect studios and agencies send the translated news to various English language sites. But it's so bad.

I've been a fan of Woo Do Hwan before it aired so it was set that I'd watch it for him and the story sounded interesting.…
yes liking an actor can be a good motivator to stick around through torture and he was great in dual role.

Lol King The Eternal Monarch and Melting Me Softly were flops in Korea. And I think a lot drama-watchers struggle…
I dropped The Untaimed after 25 min. Historical C dramas really don't agree with me. It's the style. I hate sageuk but at least I can watch a few episodes in full before flipping it off. K dramas of any kind are more to Western taste I'd say.

I enjoyed reading your article! And if i had to pick one drama that i wish i dropped it would be I Am Not A Robot.…
Yes to True Beauty. That drama wrapped up with Episode 8 (ML/FL kiss) and then was spinning wheels for 8 more episodes. It was a torture to watch it pull poor secondary ML's legs when there was never an intention for a proper love triangle, since the endgame couple was sealed in Ep 8. Utter trash.

haven't seen I Am Not a Robot but I dropped similarly titled Are You Human Too? That one was praised but why? ML was awful in dual role and FL annoying and who the heck thought it was a good idea to present falling in love with a robot as something positive? That's pervy to say the least.

I admire you for staying with KTEM cause I found it an absolute torture and dropped it after 2 episodes. Deathly dull pacing, annoying FL, I liked Kingdom of Korea parts but SK was beyond boring.

I'm a serial dropper. If I see no point to watch something - annoying characters, bad pacing, too much filler - I just drop it. No mercy. :)

I wished I dropped Vincenzo. I hated FL (blacklisted!), Vincenzo himself was a Gary Stu, and I never got over the Italian bait and switch. But it was the most popular drama so I wanted to see what the hype was all about and I was invested in Kwak Dong Yeon's character and the building residents. But yeah, 20 episodes were way too much for that thin repetitive drama with an invincible ML.
