"She's a zombie, not a gift box, that ribbon looks so thin that when she became a zombie she could have snapped it easily. "

LMAO and so true!

My other pet peeve is character is fine until someone points out that he or she is bitten. Immediately, the otherwise picture of health character develops rapid symptoms and turns. Well thanks for nothing bite pointing a-hole!

I did appreciate s***talk cause movies and shows rarely acknowledge that characters have that need too. I always wondered how one makes an impromptu toilet and got my answer. 10 points for that! :)

eh, On Jo was a boring lead but Nam Ra was useless halfbie. I don't even know why they bothered to make her one.…
it looked to me as if last 15-20 min - basically everything after he died - were a set up for Nam Ra Sue spin-off. Which I have no interest to watch. The appeal of this drama was ordinary teens in extraordinary circumstances, not X Men fighting each other. They also made a big point of showing that Cheong San was engulfed in flames. What unreasonably cruel death! His eye gouged and then burned to a crisp. So unnecessary.

like I said, Nam Ra only stepped in to protect her love interest. Otherwise nope. And even then she couldn't permanently defeat Mullet Cockroach, it was Cheong San who did. Nam Ra fans who think she's Yas Queen Slay need to rewatch the show. Ha Ri is Yas Queen, not this lovestruck plot device that added up to nothing.

Cheong San was the lead and the heart of the drama. He should have become halfbie at the end. Instead, by suddenly shifting the focus on Nam Ra in the last 15 min of the drama, he got seriously shafted.

trending doesn't guarantee another season. many shows that never got another season trended. also, as popular as AOUAD may be, it's nowhere near Squid Game level, a drama that was less expensive to make.

Somebody please tell me did they ever discover in the series On- Jo was first bite and didn't have any reaction?…
On Jo wasn't bitten. She scratched herself trying to avoid the bite. It was a red herring. They wanted us to think "Oh no!" but then explained it wasn't a bite.

because all she did was defend her love interest but there were situations where she could have used her strength and the fact that zombies don't react to Plot Armories and she didn't. Instead, she was helplessly standing on the side.

I didn't think she carried the whole series. Cheong san did with Su Hyuk lighting up the screen whenever he was on because Lomon is a genuine charisma.

Each to its own. I see that Nam Ra has passionate fans here but she was just OK to me. I'm also not sure what the actress wanted with the character. Was she an Asperger like Greta Thunberg or just painfully shy? Can't tell.

Title All of Us Are Dead Spoiler
How about ending sad or happy
since halfbies cannot be a good thing (we saw that On Jo was this close to getting bitten/eaten), army of them is definitely a scary thing. The gang trusted Nam Ra but they have no reason to extend the trust to her new friends nor they have a reason to control themselves around snack just because one of them is their buddy. If there's season 2, they better explore this. Mind you, I'm no fan of halfbie concept for it's nothing but bad plot armor and cop out. However, since the drama is stuck with it, they could use creativity and do something with it. Gwi Nam the mulleted cockroach was ridiculous and unintentional comedy so less of that please.

I saw the grin but I didn't take it as a positive one more like a grin that we make when we realize we were duped or are disappointed like cringe grin. The rest of them did look super shocked. I also found it strange that he and Nam Ra didn't have a moment. She kept her distance from everyone, acted creepily serene and dreamlike, politely rebuffed On Jo's handshake, told them about her new gang and that she'd be back and whatever they saw was not good. I saw a theory that she set the trap for them. I think it's a bit of a reach but she did seem off so who knows.

he can't because he burned. they showed that explicitely. also, gwi nam's bite doesn't always turn you into a halfbie. Nam ra is the only one thanks to plot armor. But archer boy and all others did not become halfbies but regular zombies. Same for people that Fappening girl (Eum ??) bit.

I looked at it from the same perspective and if they were safe in the very last shot than why did they look horrified and worried sick?

"they all were in shocked looking at something and then the end....."

whatever that was was not good. Surely if they saw Cheong San, they would look happy. But they looked worried sick. And no reason why he wouldn't with Nam Ra to greet them. He's dead. What they saw scared them. halfbies cannot be a good thing.

yeah this. also, Gwi Nam bite doesn't always turn into halfbie. Nam Ra is the only one cause of her plot armor. No one else who was bitten by a halfbie became one. They all became regular zombies.

I haven't seen as many request/curiosity about a 2nd season in Kdrama like this for while. I read an article with…
personally, I don't think Season 2 is necessary. The treat remains. There's no cure. Evolved zombies left our gang looking worried as hell. So basically, it's over for humans which is what the military scientist said. They could technically turn it into a Walking Dead but I think that highschool concept set it apart from zombie dramas and movies and that setting is now gone.

ending most definitely isn't happy. Did you miss the look on their faces in the final shots? That's not happiness, not even close. Whatever they saw made them very VERY worried.

Drinking game every time our favorite cockroach:

Climbed and fell

woke up and snapped his bones back

called someone "f***er"

Also drinking game every time our team hit the locked door.

eh, On Jo was a boring lead but Nam Ra was useless halfbie. I don't even know why they bothered to make her one. Outside of going "I hear them coming, run!" she never used their strength to break those freakin locked doors and she never threw herself on zombies since they don't attack halfbies. A number of lives would have been saved if she cleaned up the area by herself. I mean, the halfbie concept is stupid anyway. It turned Gwi Nam into a mullet'd cockroach and unintentional comic relief. Drinking game every time he recovered from a fall, snapped his bones back and called someone "f***er". Also, no rule why someone turns into a halfbie. Logically, if halfbie bites you, you should turn into one (like Nam Ra did after Gwi Nam's bite) but then he bit X number of people without plot armor and they, of course, just became regular zombies. So halfbie = half plot armor and half cop out.

Everytime a character turned I'd bawl my eyes out, well apart from like 3 people including Namra lol but I cried…
re: out boy. IMO, it would have made much more sense if he became a halfbie just as On Jo realized that she loved him. So bittersweet. They love each other but cannot be together. Making Nam Ra a halfbie never made sense. She was a side character and in the end she and Su Hyuk didn't even have a moment (instead, she and On Jo had one). Their romance wasn't the center of the story in the way Cheong San's unrequited love for On Jo was.

Also, how freakin useless Nam Ra was as a halfbie? She knew she was strong but never tried to break one of those 100 locked doors the gang always hit. She never discovered or told anyone that zombie wouldn't feel her so she could run errands among them without fear. Just a pointless copout cause writers didn't want to kill her off.
