Title Fatal Promise Spoiler
Tae In is the chairman's son? Didn't know that. Then it's going to be even more dramatic for them when everything…
Actually he's not. I was describing how I was so confused that I thought Tae In was chairman's son. The missing piece that caused this confusion was the fact that Seo Ju is not chairman's daughter. She was brought in by her mother when they got married. This fact explains why she is older than Ji Hoon when the fact is Ji Hoon's mother was his first wife. I momentarily forgot that the woman the chairman was looking for was supposed to be Ji Hoon's mother. Because Tae In is older I thought he was the son. I'm also confused why the chairman married Seo Ju's mother. She's a single mother and obviously he's not madly in love with her. The chairman's father who has full control of his life obviously wouldn't want to marry his son to a single mother of lower status. Unless of course there's something going on behind the scenes that we don't know.

Does anyone have any reference about the actress playing Feng Baiyu in episodes 6 & 7 where two couples died ala Romeo and Juliet? Apparently, her name is Wang Nan Qian but when I google her name I find nothing. How is that possible? Someone like her is irrelevant? Her acting is not that bad as well. I'm curious because she looks like Everglow's Wang Yi Ren. I would believe it if someone tells me they're sisters or twins even.

Between her baby-ish voice and her unique face, something about the lead actress is awkward which surprisingly adds a pleasant flavor to her character. It makes you want to see the next episode just to see more of her. The last thing we need is another Cheon Song Yi impersonator along with the new popular catchphrase like "Sawry".

Apparently she was in Wang's family but I don't remember her. *Checks asianwiki pictures* Wow she was still a kid.

Based on the highlights/teaser. It looks like a mix of melodrama and rom-com. The casting also looks good enough for me. When I saw this lead actress a long time ago in Beethoven virus, I thought she was Filipina. She also has that "Asian woman who lives abroad and speaks fluent english" vibe for me. She's actually a very very good singer. I'm excited that she's getting this main role. Also the other cast members don't look like the typical "actors who usually gets casted as an extra" kind of face. This and Fatal Promise is now my new daily dramas to watch everyday.

Sees Jin Sang got hit by a car and flung over whirling around on the air. *turns off tv. YES! WHAT A PERFECT ENDING! <- joke. It's a fair ending, everyone got what they deserve. Bae Yu Ran had a second chance and she squandered it. Jing Sang did everything he can to pay for his sins. He gets happiness and deserved it. Jun Hu's reaction of his new office - EPIC! I cannot ask for a better ending.

That moment when they show a video of Bae Yuran and Hae Jin talking at the restaurant. I was like "What kind of deus ex machina bullsh*t is this". Moments later, the writer actually managed to find an excuse.

sorry but what is a timeslot? i understand what u mean though
A fixed time schedule reserved to air a tv show. When a tv show ends it gets replaced by another in the same schedule. This particular timeslot is scheduled Saturday and Sunday 7:55 pm. It's also called primetime because most tv viewers watch tv during this time. KBS2 strategically reserved this timeslot for family dramas with 100 episodes and is noteworthy for very high viewer ratings which ranges from 20% to 40%. I personally look forward to this timeslot because compared to other family dramas, family dramas in this timeslot have better cinematography, directing, and casting. Obviously they put some decent budget for this timeslot. Because of my recent disappointments and for the lack of interest in the casting, I'm skipping the current drama for this timeslot.

This actress Oh Seung Ah is so beautiful. How can you wear a jimjilbang(sauna) uniform and yet look so stunning? I might watch her previous drama "Secret and Lies" which is also an MBC drama because I looked around and there is no upcoming daily drama for MBC.

Okay my first impression of the Main character. This guy is inarguably handsome(BTW, I'm a sraight dude). He has a small face and he has a high-pitch voice and is talkative just like the original. But he does not have that same aura that Jimmy Lin gives off in this kind of character. I remember when I first saw Jimmy Lin in Legendary Siblings and in the drama Demigods and semidevils, I already know what his character is like. He does not even do anything or say anything, he has this facial expression that says he has some little nasty tricks up in his sleeve. I can't remember any actor who plays the smart trickster character better than Jimmy Lin. The remake for demigods and semidevils is also upcoming this year. I'm curious how that will go as I see that another small-faced actor is also playing Duan Yu.

Anyways, I'm always excited about these remakes because I want to watch these epic dramas in high quality cinematography. But I keep getting disappointed with the casting. I feel like the actors in the past are naturally better looking and naturally more talented. It's like they spend so much time just to get a perfect casting. Look at Return of Condor Heroes, can you imagine a better casting than the 2006 version?

You need to stack up some ibuprofen in your drawer while watching this drama. Although watching the beautiful Park Hana does ease up my headache, this drama is deliberately trying to confuse us with a messy relationship chart. At some point, I was like "Oh I get it! Tae In is Chairman Han's son. Seo Ju is older than Ji Hoon. And the Chairman said Ji Hoon's mother was his first wife. Since Tae In is older than Ji Hoon and JiHoon is younger than Seo Ju, therefore..........Uhm wait."

I wonder if Choi Young Guk have something on Chairman Han's father. Otherwise, why would he marry his son to a single mother. Obviously the Choi family have a lot more to gain and none for F-Sports Group. Unless of course Choi Young Guk blackmailed him. But Chairman Han would know or at least wonder why he was forced into marrying his second wife. By then, he would not give any chance for the Choi family to get close to him......................... Okay, let me just get my ibuprofen.

I think it's one of those dramas that people who take cheating for granted will use as an example that cheating can be justified. All they need to do is play the victim. As long as they believe they are the victim, they have the right to cheat. For example, a wife who have a busy husband will use such excuse. Sometimes it's hard to draw the line. When the abuse is not plain and simple as physical abuse, how do you define abuse? I think there should be proper channel to decide for this.

I think the right question should be: How do you divorce a wealthy powerful husband who is abusive? What does the law do to protect us from rich people?

I mean Hua Wu Que's character in general is not that important or even relevant LMAO. And while his looks are…
Ok thanks. I'll give this another try. I was worried because he's taking up half the poster's space.

Ep 118, that was cruel to leave everyone behind like that, whatever the justification
The woman's explanation is this:
"Ayami-chan...She didn't want to be jealous of Kuoko-san. She didn't want to show herself like that to you. She pushed those thoughts away for a long time. She's been pretending to be your mother. You have to understand. Even Ayami-chan is a weak woman."

I think nobody wants to understand this explanation. Let's just pretend that we're confused. *que Evil Laugh*

do you recommend watching it ??
I believe there are better ways to spend your time with than watching this drama. It's a drama that you'd watch by routine when you want to watch something everyday and don't want to bother looking for other dramas. I suggest to wait for this drama to end and watch the next one which is "Mom has an affair".

I'm conflicted about whether I should watch this drama. I badly want to watch it but I seriously feel like they should have chosen a different actor for Wuque. I can't understand how people find this guy handsome. The proportions of his face is way off. His face is way too narrow and long and his huge pointy nose even made it worse. It's a serious case of what you call a horseface. And he has this unnaturally white complexion. It's an excessive use of whitening product. I've always seen him in supporting roles and I've always thought he fits that role. So in the first episode, my impression was "Really?! Three beautiful women fighting over this guy's face?".

EDIT: Okay, I know there are many horsefaced people who are attractive. But when the title says Handsome Siblings, I have very high expectations. This person didn't impress me as "handsome". So I had to picked on what I had to picked on about his face. There was something off about his face and his horsefacedness is the first thing that I noticed which contributed to this something. Also excessive use of whitening product is something which I always find unattractive. In aesthetics there's a thing called "Uncanny Valley" where something that resembles a human causes discomfort. When people excessively use whitening product to the point that you don't see things that you normally see in a face, it causes that "Uncanny Valley". Another one is the use of circle lenses

This drama is so complicated it's like I'm watching a historical drama. Replace directors as ministers, chairman as king, and then you have the two princes fighting for the throne. And then there's the two palace maids who are both great martial artists. One is the successor of a line of assassins and the other one used to lead a group of thugs who were previously got executed along with her twin so everyone thought she was dead.

Juri is coming back but I honestly feel that Jinsang and Bae Yuran hitting it off together is a much better ending because it signifies growth for both of them and just them caring about each other. I don't like how the writer is writing off all these cheaters' relationships as love when honestly it was all about lust and money.

It has that typical family drama feel that I like but it suffers from the huge uninteresting cast syndrome. It's like they casted random extras from past dramas. I only like the old man because I watched him before
