Also, I don't think people hate her just because she's woman. There are similarities in her and RX's stories but the biggest difference is that the guy was enchanted and didn't choose to kill people. Fuling has a choice. Granted, her story is tragic and the choice is hard. But she's not a puppet and not a child. She's happy as a demon.

I'm most interested in finding out why that bad guy put so much effort in turning Fuling evil. Obviously, he's the taoist guy who took her from the family when she was young. But it was him who seeked her out so what is the purpose?

I liked the drama in the beginning. The ML was annoying but bearable, the concept seemed interesting enough. But halfway through I lost all of my interest.
ML didn't change much, FL was all talk no action, SML was nice to the point of being boring (and written off from the beginning, he never really had a chance so he's not even SML). The only character I liked was ML's sister. She was active in pursuing her dreams and direct.
I hated FL's parents who were talking down to her and only cared about ML's riches. I hoped he's going to stand up for her next time they call her stupid but in never happened:( really annoying and boring to watch.
And I totally agree with you regarding FL's wardrobe choice. It was as if the producer wanted to remind us at all times: pst, remember she used to be an athlete.

Yeah, I think the Song Han arc would feel so flat if it wasn't stretched like this.

Although she's annoying I feel it's quite a good portrait of a toxic relationship with a smart psycho partner. He knows exactly what to do and when to keep her sympathetic towards him and doubtful towards all the others (who used to be close to her).

The plan was to espace from the wedding sedan. She decided to do sth risky like that as to not implicate other people with her actions. And here you are saying she has sacrificed her sister🫣
DM's own mother allowed her to marry the guy but for some reason FL should fight nail and tooth against her sister's decision.

If you call this "indirect sacrifice" you cleanly just want to pin it on the FL. What about DM's actions? She was ready to hurt herself to force her mother to let her marry the guy. FL warned DM about the perils of marrying a weak guy with difficult family but in the end it was DM's choice. If you believe FL should stop her stepsister you really don't understand the situation. Firstly, it wasn't FL's decision (only acceptance of DM's decision). Secondly, why she's supposed to save DM? She has her own life to live.
At the end, it was highly probably that even if FL didn't help her sister get married that day and cancel the wedding DM would still married the guy later.
Why do you ignore the fact that DM is her own person and can make decisions for herself?

Really just rewatch the episode and you'll see.
If FL wanted to sacrifice her stepsister she would go with IY's plan when he locked her with WTY in the room to ruin their reputation. Instead FL got angry with IY about using other people to achieve his goal and told him about her plan.

Have we seen the same drama? FL had a plan to escape the marriage but her sister was so much in love that she was ready to take her place. FL didn't sacrifice her. The stepsister wanted to marry that guy even after FL told her all about his flaws and the problems ahead.
FL even tried to help Dou Ming after the marriage and give her some advice how to run that ruined household.

And why would she revenge DM's death with the stepmother? Her death (although not planned and not wanted by FL) became FL's revenge for her mother's death.

This drama is detailed and nuisanced, better stop forwarding;)

I just hope she won't destroy her friendship with FL before she learn her lesson.

The guy observes stars and planets. He told sth about the meteor. Basically they're fated because he says so.

I'm also not consumed with his story. But they make him crazy really good. I think this plot is needed to create some ground for framing SM. Otherwise the rebellion can't start.

Being the strategist (same as before) is consistent with his stance "fate can't be changed". Only I don't know why he was interested in taking part in the rebellion in any lifetime. What did he want to achive when he was a monk and helped the rebellion? That would only made sense (was positive) if the emperor was bad.
