I understand he met the other woman because of work. How did it happened they become a couple?
He told FL that she was suffocating him with plans of marriage and purchase of the house. But then he started relationship with woman who is really suffocating (giving him no space at all, trying to solve his problems with her money and promoting him because of their relationship).

While he can be hypocritical and allow richer woman do things he didn't like in the FL I don't understand why is that woman with him?

Is it supposed to be true love on her side or she just need someone to take a fall for her at the end?

I think similarly. He told his friend she's already sworn to heaven never to like him. And, honestly, she doesn't behave as if she was interested in him as a man so he can't find the openings for the pursuit. While the risk is high...

I agree. When there are four of them and the other two are a couple the dynamics change: Yifei and Qian Fei are also put in the couple-like position.

It started from the proposal. He proposed in a bath robe because otherwise she would think he's cheated. Seriously? And that is supposed to be a great relationship?

I feel both of them are superficial. That everything they do is a pose. A successful career person pose, rich CEO pose, independent partners pose and happy power couple pose.

Also I think ML's friend realised she's his landlady - that's why he was egging the ML by pretending to be interested in the tough lady.

The other girl clearly saw him paying so much attention to the FL during the party and still seems to think she has a chance.

What's more she throws nasty looks as if she has any right to do so. He was never her so no one is stealing him.

The fact people hug in the romance drama isn't much of a spoiler, is it?

He's already met the wanna be assasin guy so he probably will discover sth that will help the ML deal with politics.

I don't think she's alive. But the journey of the ML's friend following the dead princess to her country probably will serve some purpose plot wise.

I think you're misinterpreting the fact they are open and comfortable with each other as lack of the chemistry.

At the same time the spouse shouldn't deliberately keep their distance just because they are angry. A specially if even them knows that they are irrational.
I see her action as stating her boundaries: telling him not to cross the line that's super important for her.

And remember the whole divorce paper was his idea.

I'm loving the kicks. It's sooo on the par with his character. Bruises on the hands would look bad so he stays calm from the waist up while flooring the man at the same time. Perfect.

She's fifteen at the beginning. Then there are some events and then a 3-year long mouring period. So by the time their romance begins shes already 18+.

I see you comment every second post just to say the ML is a simp and the FL is a harlot. Yet you haven't seen the drama. Aren't you bored?

The most annoying thing about CXQ's behaviour isn't that he's delusional but that he goes and makes things difficult for the FL.
Even if his belief was true and she was in love with him she's already married to another man. There's nothing any of them could do even if they were madly in love. So he should just leave her alone.
