What's with the Exes reuniting tag?!?! 🤦🏻♀️ That better be an error, or they already date when he's…
Seems in line with PD's previous dramas and how they explore "taboo" relationship dynamics in Korea, like a woman dating a younger man (SITR), and a woman dating a single father (OSN). Although this one will mostly be set when they're reuniting as instructors/coworkers.
that’s not true, they’re using ‘high school’ to prevent leaking of the filming locations and other leaks.…
Ohh, that's good. If Netflix are worried about calling it something "2" they should just license Weak Hero Class 1 and make it available on their service before 2 comes out.
Apparently Netflix has retitled this drama "High School". If true it's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. EDIT: See honlvr's comment below; "High School" may just be for privacy purposes on location.
I'm half-way through this and really loving it. But I can't stand the scenes with Si-hoon, so I skip those. Like we get it, he's an abusive piece of shit with no redeeming qualities. Ain't nobody got time for that.
The filming for this is confusing. IU and Bogum were spotted filming for this as early as April 2023. And this year IU is touring from March to August and Bogum is shooting Good Boy to release later this year. So I'm assuming that most of their filming for this is done already? Otherwise they'll be very busy.
If anyone was a little disappointed with the first episode (like me), I suggest sticking it out until the end of the second episode. The healing aspect of the drama really comes into focus. Can't wait for more!
The plot regarding PHS's character arc is all over the place. I am not happy with the jakkanim, after watching…
It seemed so unnecessary as well? Like it would've been enough for him to lose a patient due to complications during a surgery (these things do happen), and enter a slump due to that, doubting his abilities and his way forward. This whole being framed for murder by blood thinners thing is stretching credulity.
I hate first episodes that spend the entire runtime getting to what the drama will actually be like, rushing us through a bunch of stuff, not remembering to make us care first. A lot of the information in episode 1 could've been filled in later through flashbacks. Instead it felt jumbled and all over the place. But I think I will like this once they actually spend more time together in episode 2 (I'm starting it now).
Also, as others have said, the comedy (so far) mostly fell flat for me. It's a bit too silly, too soon, and that didn't really gel in the first episode with all the serious stuff that was happening in between.

Both him and Yeo Jin-goo are listed in the Wikipedia entry about this.
