I don't think they intended for it to be surprising, or they wouldn't have telegraphed it from the start with dialogue/out of focus effect or made it obvious with the cars. To me it seemed the intention was we were meant to know that something was not right, and that Hae-in was likely having some kind of episode, whether dreaming/hallucinating or something else.

You seem to have misunderstood a confusing translation. The disappointment is referring to the fact that the drama will have ended, not that the ending itself, story-wise, is disappointing.

I think they said he wants to buy more shares to solidify his position. They are feeling vulnerable, especially after the disastrous press conference he held with Haein.

Hopefully we won't have to wait another four years for the next Park Jieun drama

Kwak Dongyeon was low-key the MVP in this episode. Such a funny and charming performance. Soocheol carefully assembling meat and lettuce on a stick for Haein made me emotional 😭

Looks like another Saturday peak in the tv ratings, though it wasn't much higher than last week. I'm guessing some prioritized watching the Wonderful World finale. Still hoping to hit 20% tomorrow!

At least the fact that many seem to think she might die shows the writer is doing her job, not making it too predictable. We’ll know in a couple of weeks. I for one will be waiting for a scene of them decorating a new nursery again, with glow in the dark stars in the ceiling.

I wouldn’t agree in this case. The healing process is already well underway. The leads finding their way back to each other, the Hong family starting to face their past loss and patching things up, trying to find a way forward. On a storytelling level it would make no sense in this context for Hae-in to die. It would basically mean the entire thing was in vain for the couple, and the Hongs would lose another child, reopening old wounds and leaving them shattered. I see a baby for Baekhong as much, much more likely considering the miscarriage storyline (which is clearly far from fully dealt with).

It was the wake-up call she needed to start mending their relationship, yes. Grief can make you do terrible things, and I’m sure Hae-in will take her time to truly forgive. But acting like her mom is somehow beyond redemption is arguably worse in my view than accepting her apologies too swiftly.

It’s quite clear in terms of the storytelling that this isn’t a tragedy, but a drama about healing. It’s there in the synopsis above and it’s there in almost every scene of the drama.

The melodrama was really melodrama-ing in this ep and I loved it. I may be dehydrated now though 😭

He should do a vampire drama next 🤣

Netflix must be annoyed about how they have to chop up their Korean dramas every time some actor or actress gets a DUI or smokes weed or whatever, just to appease a toxic culture and crazy netizens.

Not uncommon. It just means the page was created before the drama had a title. Kim Ji-won's previous drama, My Liberation Notes, still has the url an-untitled-jtbc-project, too.

Ah yes, how terrible of him to keep his private life private and not broadcast it on Instagram. His agency will clearly have advised him to stay out of the messy quagmire that HSH had created.

Or maybe she is the one who grows up and realizes she loved him all along and that she wants to make amends for what she did and be a family again, for real this time. Only time will tell.

They should've just been a throuple at the end. Why choose between two beautiful men.
