A new review implies the romance seems to be minimal: https://www.dexerto.com/tv-movies/gyeongseong-creature-review-netflix-k-drama-2433942/Which…
I don't care whether there's romance or not, but I imagine even if there were, it wouldn't be until towards the end of the season, or even in Season 2. I'm guessing either no romance or slow burn
What a great year for him with The Glory (part 2), The Good Bad Mother, and his cameos in Sweet Home 2 and Death's Game. He deserves a Baeksang nomination for his acting in The Good Bad Mother!
two of the most overrated middle aged actors in Korea starring as highschoolers? omg, how not exciting!
Imagine joining this site just to spread negativity? With Christmas around the corner? Couldn't be me. They are adults in the drama (doctors in a slump, who'd have guessed?), with some flashbacks to their school days. Pretty standard in dramas with 30-something actors.
So very proud of them and it's insane how popular it is in China. I know the ratings are average in South Korea…
I don't put much stock in tv ratings anyway. It doesn't mean much in terms of a drama's impact and longevity. It's Okay to Not Be Okay had similar ratings to My Demon and that's like the most popular drama worldwide so far this decade. Netflix matters most.
My Demon, Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung are topping the most buzzworthy drama and actors ranking this week, and the drama has also risen to #4 worldwide on Netflix again today. 🥳
It's giving Happiness vibe so I'm here for it.And listen I dont hate Park Seo Joon, his acting is top tier, but…
I mean he's one of the most popular leading actors in Korea, in no small part because of his visual, so it seems reasonable that this character in this drama would be considered the most attractive man in an area of Gyeongseong. Most Korean people don't look like that 💀
I'm very intrigued by how Wi Ha-joon was announced as part of the main cast (and listed as such on Netflix) but does not feature on a character poster? I guess he's dying early on or something 😭
Do we know if there is a monster or its metaphors?
There are creatures, but I don't think they're "monsters" like you see in Sweet Home, but more like human experiments gone wrong. But we don't know exactly what they'll be like.
