That seems like a confused view to me. Gicheul only killed the previous gang leader because he murdered Tae-ho…
Some would say that Euijung manipulating Gicheul by using their shared past against him is evil, even if it's "her job". If it goes the other way and she ends up helping him, then some would call that evil too. These characters live in shades of grey. They lie because of their job, they manipulate others, they inflict pain when necessary. What's exciting is where it will ultimately take the characters. Who, in the end, can truly escape unscathed? Probaly none of the three main characters.
Also the bit about Gicheul not killing easily was about OP's statement.

The show is called The Worst of Evil. No one is a wonderful person; the journey is about finding out who really is the worst of evil in the end. But to say that Gicheul "easily" kills people so far, is simply not supported. There are more examples of him trying to avoid that. A lot of commenters here seem terrified FL will somehow cheat on/betray the ML and it's also making them biased against SML. I only intend to provide some semblance of a balanced view of Gicheul's character that isn't black and white..
Many people feel sorry for ki-chul just bcz he is going to be betrayed by ML & FL. Duds Look at the drama !! he…
That seems like a confused view to me. Gicheul only killed the previous gang leader because he murdered Tae-ho in front of him; he was originally meaning to let him live. He also wasn't going to kill Donghyuk, but was left with no choice after he was plotting to kill him. Also any other gang leader would have killed the traitor without thinking twice about it. He didn't. If you've seen the first episodes and your takeaway is that he's "really evil" and that he's a "very dark character" then I don't think we're watching the same show, to be honest. Obviously he's done bad things, but the point of the character is he is not beyond redemption. Had he been, nobody would have cared whether he lived or died, which would've been a failure by the scriptwriter.
Yes, it's really heartwarming and funny. The first episode is a lot of back story and not really the same tone as the rest of the drama, but from episode 2 the real plot really starts.
I understand CHW should have been more careful. Because he’s an emerging actor. But I don’t why do people…
Yeah, it's a minor "scandal". Like when Kim Tae-ri recently had to apologize over fans making subtitles for one of her videos. This isn't something that is going to stick with him. Sure he shouldn't have smoked in a no-smoking area or littered a cigarette butt, but give me a break.
this is not a romance, so i Don't care who end with whom..but seriously, those who rooting the fl with jkc even…
I'd advise you to not take it so seriously. I see people rooting for Junmo and Euijung, Gicheul and Euijung, Junmo and Haeryeon, hell even Junmo and Gicheul. People will do what they want.
I mean, WHJ is unable over power JCW in this one, I really like WHJ as an actor, and his deserving popularity…
I think they're both excellent in this. It seems it's only those favoring one actor who feel the need to make these comparisons. I also think you're making assumptions about Gicehul's character. Who's to say nobody held a gun to his head? What is his bond with the powerful Kanemoto?
The love story is integral to Gicheul's character, and it may be his only tether to redemption. Whatever happens, he's the character with the most interesting trajectory to me, because we have no idea if he lives or dies, if he gets out of this mess or not. Junmo as the lead will be fine, there's no true nerve there, other than how much trauma he has to sustain before this is over.
Two excellent episodes this week with some very stellar acting. The cinematography is beautiful (the use of colors is simply magnificent), the direction is sharp and the writing is up to par. Can't wait for more!
Guest list for the Vigilante event at BIFF on Oct 6: Choi Jeong-yeol (director), Yoo Ji-tae, Lee Jun-hyuk, Kim So-jin As expected no Nam Joo-hyuk since he's doing his military service
Soompi article confirmed this is gonna be Noona romance / teacher - student romance...
The Soompi article is based on the same sources as yesterday, which state clearly that the actual romance will take place when they are both working as instructors at the academy.
