Made-up categories based on a silly notion that movies are superior to dramas mean very little to me. To call it "fact" is even sillier. It's all just the same: people's opinions about someone's acting. I thought Im Soo Jung was weak in Chicago Typewriter, for instance. Yoo Ah In completely carried that drama for me.

How someone responds to a person's acting is subjective. Personally, I don't like Lee Dong-wook at all. I also disagree with the premise that movies have "higher acting requirements". The most important thing for an actor, regardless of medium, is to connect with viewers. And it's a lot harder to keep viewers' attention for 12-16 episodes than a two-hour movie. You refer to "blind fans", but most casual viewers aren't fans, and they are the ones to make shows hits.

Sounds like that's a you problem, rather than an issue with these talented, popular lead actors who keep booking high-profile roles. You are free to simply not watch their shows. There's so much else to choose from.

Thankfully like 98% of the people who will watch this on Netflix, myself included, have not seen SOOD, and so have nothing to compare it to and can just enjoy it without those expectations.

Well, TWE has also started promo with the teaser poster, character posters and the teaser trailer. Then there will be the official poster, the trailer, cast interviews, the cast appearing at the event in Japan. So it seems like they're on top of it, but they can't release everything this early.

It's too early for cast promo over three weeks out. Netflix's A Time Called You is releasing in less than a week and they're only just now putting out cast promo and behind the scenes.
