It's really weird. Murder DIEary finished filming a long time ago. He parted ways with his agency in April this year, too. Not sure what's going on with him. Hoping for news soon.

It seems a bit strange to spend 7 episodes on developing the kid characters and talking about the importance of the new generation, for the show to then pivot to the adults in episode 8. I also thought it was a bit odd to spend 20 minutes in episode 6 to give us the back story of Gye-do, only to have Frank kill him in the very next episode. It seems episodes 8-14 will be about the adults, which seems like a long stretch to not see our trio at the school. Hopefully 15-20 will be a balance.

Yeah, and apparently the FL and her manager both follow him on IG now, too.

Oh, definitely. People are obsessed with "green flag" characters and can't handle an adult drama with complex relationship dynamics without endlessly whining about it being "toxic".

While I am impatient for new episodes, it's nice to have this to look forward to at the start of each week.

I don't think AHS would have an issue with it, growing up in Canada during a time where LGBTQ rights were at the forefront and where same-sex marriage was legalized and celebrated. But they may remove it simply because Korea is so conservative about these things even in 2023.

This week's episodes were truly the "honeymoon phase", focusing on the leads growing closer and starting to date, with Do-ha thinking he might just be able to move on and escape his past. Of course, it won't be that easy. I fear that the other shoe will drop pretty soon, which will be thrilling! With the help of Sol-hee, hopefully Do-ha will be able to face the difficulties without running away again.

I saw the resemblance a lot during the scene in the rain towards the end of ep 6.

I think that's very much the point. This is their "honeymoon phase", starting dating. Do-ha thinking maybe he can avoid his past, that things will be fine. Soon the other shoe will drop.

It's not a subplot? It's literally the main plot for the ML and what the whole show centers around. Like this is a mystery drama with romance, not a romcom with a mystery subplot.

I don't think you understand what a filler episode is. Some things that happened:
- Sol-hee learned more about Do-ha's past and grew closer to him
- Jae-chan blackmailed Do-ha for money as he knows his identity
- Do-ha's ex was shown through flashbacks to be psychotic/obsessed with him
- Do-ha had a breakdown due to Syaon's stunt reminding him of his ex
- Kang-min's link to the old disappearance case was emphasized (again)
- Do-ha showed up at the company and got the plagiarist fired
- Do-ha rejected Syaon in no uncertain terms to her face
- Do-ha removed his mask in public by choice

If the Dec 22 release date holds true, this will be the perfect Christmas holidays binge. The cast is excellent, but I didn't like this writer's work with Dr. Romantic - hopefully this is better for me, because in Dr. Romantic the writer leaned too much on tropes like eavesdropping and cartoon villains.

What I like about this drama is that the characters mostly act in ways that make sense (which isn't always the case in dramas). I like how Do-ha spoke so clearly to Syaon about not liking her romantically instead of beating around the bush. With Kang-min, it makes sense that he'd be tempted to seek out Sol-hee now that theyre in the same place, after a break-up that must have been out of left field for him (based on a misunderstanding?) So while it's a bit much going for coffee at the tarot place, you see where he's coming from. Similarly with the CEO who seems like a good guy but was still willing to look the other way about plagiarizing because he didn't want to cause a stink, and the guy was making them money.

What's the point of this nitpicking over minor details?
Most dramas have characters with trauma, whether male or female, as they're *dramas* and characters have back stories, naturally. The FL is clearly intrigued with the ML in large part because of the way her powers have been with him and she is also clearly attracted to him (are you watching the show?). It doesn't take much energy to draw a petite woman to you. You're having issues with her removing her arm? Sounds like a miserable way to watch television.

Loved episode 5. This drama is pushing all the right buttons for me. I liked Kim So-hyun in Love Alarm (despite not liking the drama very much) and here she's even better. And the ML gets dreamier every episode. The plot is interesting and the episode flew by! Hooked and eager for tomorrow!
