Perfect! Our Beloved Summer is wonderful. Hoping for a great female lead to star opposite him.

He's still filming My Demon. He's given no indication he is exempt, and has called his enlistment "inevitable". I assume he'll go at the end of the year once filming has concluded and he's promoted his two new dramas.

Finally some casting news! Wooshik has been offered the male lead in the romcom drama "Melo Movie" from the writer of Our Beloved Summer (Lee Na-eun)! He is positively considering the offer.

It is my understanding that this is not his typical "cold" character, though he appears that way in the beginning because of the plot. But at least in the webtoon, the character really isn't that.

Eungyeol was so me during ep 6. Rolling my eyes whenever Sekyeong/Eunyu was flirting with Yichan.

Every year someone says this, and every year it remains a wholly subjective point of view. Personally, I've loved many dramas this year, from the conclusion of The Glory, to The Good Bad Mother, A Time Called You and Moving, Both Twinkling Watermelon and The Worst of Evil are great so far, and still we have Vigilante and Gyeongseong Creature to come. It's too bad you've not had a good go at it with kdramas this year, but I assure you it is not a universal experience.

Apparently this, while a modern drama, will have time slips to period settings. In between A Time Called You, Twinkling Watermelon and now this, time slip romance really seems to be a trend this year.

You not liking a comedic scene (which I found very funny) has nothing to do with Ryeoun's acting.

This is true, but thriller/action is also more demanding on actors, so many like to throw in a romcom or something chill at least after doing action for a few years.

This sounds like a great role for Hyunwook, but I'm confused about how people will even find this drama if it's just on some obscure app. Also no international OTT? No one knows how long the episodes are?

Choi Hyunwook is so good and funny and charming in this, what a star.
