Lol the way the ex suddenly shows up randomly out of nowhere like a ghost & right on que, when and where needed, only to offer key info that will turn the tide between the leads … its almost comedic without meaning to be 😂 this writing 😂😂😂
Oh please. FL doesn't owe SML anything. She left him because she felt it wasn't working out a year after the surgery,…
I don’t think that was their relationship at all. Neither one of them was guilting or feeling as if they owed the other anything. They were both very autonomous.
I think the point is that she clearly was not very invested in her ex at all, because she literally gave zero effort into fighting for him or their relationship. They weren’t buddies helping each other out, they were engaged so yea there’s a little more commitment and partnership (not to mention treading the vulnerable ground of another persons heart) involved there. I mean if marriage is all about counting receipts and ‘I’m here and in love until I’m not’ …sure… I don’t see how that’s not doomed to fail right off the bat though, since it’s completely self serving - not a relationship at all. Definitely not centered on things like commitment, communication, effort, sacrifice, putting another’s needs above your own, working together, etc.
She wasn’t being honest with him or herself and that’s the real problem. She did owe him more consideration than he received, and she did use him - which she herself admitted in the end. But he was nothing but gracious about it. Honestly he’s too good for her so I’m glad they went their separate ways.
Agreed. I'm confused as to why everyone in this drama, including the ML, just want to scream at her after finding…
bc nobody knows how to communicate well lol. the way ppl yell at each other in this drama in general tho!!
I guess they’re all yelling at her but really yelling at themselves for the way they treated her / not realizing / the shock / etc. which is pretty human. And since this is not a comedy in the least but truly a more melo/slice of life drama, the writers clearly want to depict those raw emotions and dynamics.
but STILL I think mo eum definitely responded appropriately by hugging the FL and acknowledging her efforts and how it must have been hard. you just don’t go and bash the person who survived a near run in with death. if you need a dog to kick take it out on something else - not the person suffering most.
Can we just remove the Rom-Com' tag? This is not a rom-com', this is a slice of life. This is so misleading. I…
Seriously … removing that tag would resolve 80% of the viewer frustration for this show. I love a great slice of life drama or mature family drama when I am in the mood for or at least expecting that, and this is definitely worthwhile watch in that category. But comedy? Romance? Not so much. It’s a serious letdown in that category. If this was just marketed for what it was, I genuinely think it would receive higher ratings.
I love this Kdrama, even though at times I just want lite and funny. This story has amazing depth and genuine…
Totally, if it was real life I feel like they would have worked it out. 💔 I personally would have hard time giving up on someone who was by my side through all of that, it just took him time to fully understand what she needed. Both the exes were pretty cool in this show & my heart went out to them.
This drama is too real. They have aced the writing, acting…they have shown true human emotions. It’s not comedy..…
agree, only wish it had been advertised / tagged as a slice of life or drama instead of comedy and romance. people are only disappointed bc it wasn’t marketed as a mature drama, but as a romcom. for a slice of life or mature drama genre it’s great tho.
