Sorry but in what world is the FL mom behavior ok? Its abusive. Her obsession with success and riches to the point…
Wow, resorting to personal attacks? That's very mature of you.
You really know nothing of what I have seen or experienced of the world, and if you did you would realize how rude of a comment that was to make.
Also you really don't know that this mother has scars. We don't know that there is anything more going on here than a bruised ego, because the writer hasn't explored her character. You don't know that it's that deep - you're projecting.
Because we don't know her background we also don't know if she could have had the strength of character to respond to her circumstances in a more admirable way or not.
My point is that her backstory and reasons and what made her this way have nothing to do with right and wrong. Her behavior is wrong. She is being abusive to her family. She's unapologetic and refuses to acknowledge her behavior even when her family is crying and pointing at the harm it's done right in front of her.
Yes she might have her reasons (emphasis on might as we really don't have any story there), and parents are not perfect. DUH. Nobody needs that spelled out for them.
Being understanding is one thing, but enabling poor, unhealthy and unacceptable behavior? No. I'm not about that.
Maturity is also knowing where and when to draw healthy boundaries -- a person's capacity to be understanding and forgiving has nothing to do with where they set their boundary for what is and what is not acceptable behavior. It's possible to be understanding and still say this is wrong, I'm not okay with this.
How brutally Seok Ryu rejected his feelings towards her,it broke me from inside when she said "Maybe I am like…
I felt like she was harsh on her ex too, didn’t even try to fight for that relationship - just cut it off the minute he started to express his own pain and struggle. He was really good to her and seemed to sincerely care for her. I was expecting to be annoyed with the ex, but it felt pretty cold on her part esp after all they went through together and having been engaged nearly 3yrs. After watching their flashback, I think what he said came off more pointed than it actually was. He was just pained for her sake if anything, and trying to come to terms with the new normal while grappling with his own discomforts and expectations (which is completely normal). It shows how much he did sincerely care, and wanted to work through it. So they hit their ‘rock bottom’ and she just gives up? That’s it? One difficult moment and it’s simply not right? He didn’t ever give up on her or them … even when rock bottom hit both — it all just felt unfair and harsh.
Then she goes and rejects Seung Hyo in the way that she did…treating him like a child basically. After allll their history and his finally making himself vulnerable. I get that she is pushing everyone away rn and everything, and that she’s depressed, but still. Harshhhh.
To me, it’s a pride issue with the FL. She cant stand to be the one who is relying or leaning on others. Honestly I feel for the ML and her ex, I think both are getting the short end of the stick. Hopefully we get to see that significant character growth for the FL play out in a satisfying way. This episode was a bit of a downer.
I stand on the Mountain claiming that I have no Beef with FL mother because she is relatable AF. someone tell…
Sorry but in what world is the FL mom behavior ok? Its abusive. Her obsession with success and riches to the point of throwing all her children (and husband) under the bus for her own vain ambitions and insecurities isn’t something to be admired.
Realistic or not, she’s selfish and self admittedly so. She has major anger issues and throws her weight around without discretion. It’s not okay — I don’t care what her reasons are. Honestly the reasons are pretty lame anyway. For what? Please. She needs a HUGE slice of humble pie. She’s never even apologized once.
Had stomach cancer, she is currently in remission so it could possibly come back one day but right now she is…
some are very sensitive in this comment section if you have anything other than 100% positive and hopeful things to say about this drama. even if you don’t have negative opinions necessarily — anything other than rainbows and compliments and you will be taken to task lol
Guys this is my first time watching Jung Haein's drama, will I be able to handle his other dramas 😭😭❤️🩹…
A Piece of Your Mind is one of my favorites. Its definitely heavy melo, as the themes revolve around healing from grief. Its a sweet romance and happy ending though. You will probably only like it if you enjoy deep, thoughtful, artistic shows.
Snowdrop was really good acting, but definitely a tragedy.
He was great in While You Were Sleeping, should have been the main lead imo 💔
I’m sorry but they way they keep leaving all the important story development for a cliffhanger at the very end of every episode is really starting to annoy.
Feels like a cheap attempt to keep viewership.
Waited all week for an episode that gave us as much development as the preview itself.
I know some people don’t like the slow pace of this show, but I think it’s nice. So long as they do right by our main leads in the second half (which it sounds like they will from recent articles & interviews given by the actor), the pace doesn’t matter so long as it’s executed well. Its nice to slow down & enjoy the ride.
Also I can’t wait to see the development for the second leading couple as well as the main. The main leads had me hooked since the end of ep 3, but I’ve been hooked on the second leads since the start. I think this show has a great cast and you can tell there’s a good energy on set. It’s fun. 😎
oh god how do we get from that to the sobbing later?????? I'm not ready.
That’s true, hopefully she will reveal properly herself then and his reaction in the promo is from the truth bomb she suddenly drops. I think it would be better than him finding out through other means anyways.

I’m fine with the slow pace personally, it’s the story that’s lacking

I’m so ready for some legit relationship development for these two!!
