Have you seen Princess Agents? And yes a lot of people who read the novel told me her portrayal of A’fei is pretty spot on. There’s just some scenes where I thought she could be more expressive, but I didn’t read the novel so I can’t say much there. I’m just comparing it to her other works I’ve seen.

Yea that’s literally like almost half of the people who watched LoF, I don’t get it either.

Liying is the best!!!!

Zhao Liying is pretty freaken awesome! If you haven’t seen any of her other dramas, I highly recommend you do. She’s pretty badass in Princess agents and love her in Journey of Flower. I wasn’t a fan of The story of Minglan but many people said it was good and so many more dramas. Her acting is a bit off in LoF thou, compared to her other works but I still think she did good. I feel like People are too harsh on her, she just got back from maternity leave, it’s hard to be away from your baby at first, on top of that I guess filming LOF was physically exhausting for her as she did a lot of stunts herself. No matter what she’s still badass in my eyes!
