When I first watched the drama in the beginning, I thought it was boring and the romance was almost nonexistent. I can understand why someone who didn’t finished the drama feels like there’s no chemistry, because the romance between YunFei is not a hot,fire,burning romance. They don’t tell each other how much they love each other, or that they can’t live without each other. But through their actions is how you can tell how much they love each other. Looking back to the beginning, their romance was very natural. They become friends and went on an adventure. (Of course Xie Yun had feelings for Fei in the beginning but it grew stronger as he spends more time with her) and for Fei, it took her a lot longer to realized her feelings for him. Yun since the beginning had always supported and encourages Fei, which i think means a lot to her because she doesn’t get that from her parents. I think brought them closer. But once their romance takes off you can feel how strong the bond and connection they have for each other. So yes, their romance is slow and boring but I think that’s what makes them so cute and an adorable couple to me. They feel almost like a “real” couple versus an unrealistic, imaginary one that we all want when we watch c-dramas. Trust me, I’m a huge sucker for those unrealistic, imaginary c-dramas couples, so it was very different for me to see Yunfei romance, but they eventually pulled me in and I’m convinced. I freaken love them, they’re so adorable and I can’t get enough of them!! That’s just my personal opinion, my interpretation, and observation of YunFei. I know many people will have different opinions and that’s okay too :)

Oh yea there’s so much to talk about what they could have done better, but one thing I do appreciate is A’fei and XY relationship, I know it was pretty slow in the beginning but it gets two so much stronger later on and they are just so freaken adorable together!!! A’fei becomes pretty protective of XY too. It’s cute cuz it’s like she’s the man in the relationship. It’s refreshing to see that!
