I so agree! The villains didn't get what they deserved at the end. Even Ling Sheng in jail gets sympathy from…

Let's also praise Liang Je, she really does a phenomenal job with the little glances and the stoic face, that just fit so perfectly.
In my honest opinion, I think she plays Jiang Yi better than Steven. :D

I started great, but became pretty stale and cliché.
IMO, it was too long. This should've been an 18 ep drama max, there were too many side couples and the final conflict was just meh. The younger brother was just very unbelievable as the villain, and I honestly hate how everybody is forgiven at the end.
Anxin's father never learned that she really is his biological daughter, there was no final reconnection or even redemption for the father. Her stepmother was healthy enough to plot all this evil, but suddenly she falls ill when discovered - this woman should've gone to jail, too, didn't even apologize to Anxin. Xiner should've had a scene where she apologizes to Yu Gou, instead she promised her attempted murderer of three people and defrauder that she would wait for him. Also, where was her redemption? Just because she was suddenly acceptive of their relationship, doesn't mean I forgot about the obsessive shit she had done; also, no apology from her. She was only suddenly trapped in another obsession over a man.
There was no scene that could've convinced me that the father didn't prefer Ling Yue over his other brothers.
Heck, even the right-handed man of Ling Sheng, who did all the dirty work, was given a chance at the end. It's just too much.
Why can't people just live with a little resentment? The whole engagement party scene was too damn long, they really could've used some of that time to just patch up some relationships. I don't mean in a redemptive way, but more like a final took where it's determined whether they forgive each other or continue to hate each other. (Would've preferred the latest.)
Overall, it just a very basic drama, very cute but as much as I like the leads at some point there cuteness isn't bringing anything new to the table, and then the focus gets shared between several side couples that I just don't care about. I do appreciate, though, that Anxin and Ling Yue didn't have the typical break up scene at the end, their problems were really between them and not much over other influence.

For those who are still confused why that thing happened to Myeol Mang in Ep14:
omg thank you, now it makes sense

The younger brother being the main villain is kind of ... off-putting. With the older brother there has been hatred at least from the start. But now they want to tell me that he goes as far as to kill his brother because he felt like he was always in his shadow?
Though, they both are very cute, this drama should've had fewer episodes and fewer side couples.

Finished the first episode, didn't have any impression at all so it was quite boring. Read the comments that it…
Honestly, same. It took me 3 tries to finish the first episode because if felt just so off. But it really does get better with ep 2 and 3, because now I'm really anticipating the next eps.

This doesn't really look like something I'd be normally watching, but my love for Nam Ji Hyun is unstoppable and other dramas of her had surprised me, too.

What I loved the most was that the episodes' length varies from half an hour to 50 minutes, because they really only give you what's necessary. There is nothing filler-like, nothing pointless. It's cute, simple, and it knows what it wants to show us. I was reminded of if because there are quite a lot of ongoing dramas right now that do the opposite.

I just wonder if they're going to drag this on for three more episodes. Initially, I really liked this drama and I still do, but I'm less excited and feel a little forced to catch up with it. I'm especially disappointed in the latest episode because from the preview for ep 13 I really thought she was going to die and finally move the plot forward, but it turns out to be only a dream. I hope it'll be some kind of foreshadowing at least because otherwise there wouldn't be any point to the scene.
Ep 12 and 13 were honestly very unnecessary, the only good thing coming out of it would be if the contract was revoked now, but I guess since Deity said some fate cannot be changed and since they both remember now, the contract is back on track with them. Thus, the whole forgetting plot was really pointless.
I'm convinced this would've been much better if it had like 10 or 12 episodes, because though I wouldn't necessarily call it slow-paced, they could really shorten it to the essential parts. It would've been a drama that leaves you wanting more.
At this point, I doubt we'll get a happy ending or even an unhappy ending. It's going to be Goblin-ending or Hotel del Luna-ending-like.

Right, their plot just feels like I'm watching a teenage show, it's so childish. 9 years is more than enough…
You're totally right. There really is no connection between the plots, I didn't even realize that.
I'm kinda guessing that Cha Joo Ik will turn out to have fallen for Na Ji Na even before Lee Hyun Gyu got to know her, that's why he kissed her, and she's the woman he could never have, that's why he can't forget her.

Honestly, the show is slow and the amnesia plot was very unnecessary, but the prewiev for ep 13 had me really excited again. at least, the contract is gone now.
