CRYING LIKE CRAZY after that ending.. really didn't see that twist coming! Makes you want to spend more time with your mom and do more for her. I'm happy for Jia Ling, what a present to her mom and happy that this movie became not only the top grossing film of 2021 but also the highest grossing film for a female director. <3

loved loved loved this lgbt movie, we need more of these chinese-language movies that highlights the challenges of being an lgtbq couple in modern day china. i liked how it was funny and heartwarming at times, and also heartbreaking and moving at other times (esp near the end). im happy to see that the mom ended up being supportive to her children T_T

this was SUCH a fun show, loved watching the moms and daughters compete with each other in various challenges and see them grow closer

just watched the first ep and it is so fun! gina chen is such a fun and encouraging mentor, and the girls' dance performances look exciting so far.

glad you feel me here; from the preview it looked like yuqi was super heartbroken and was trying to speak out about it too. i bet they are all lowkey regretting joining the show :( also like wtf is the point of the show too, bc it feels like the show is enjoying making them stressed out rather than to help them improve and grow

right? it would have been so much better if they let the girls collaborate and perform not for the purpose of ranking/PKing but to enjoy the process and learn from each other. i really hate this cut throat competitive environment they are putting the girls in, it makes me stressed as a viewer too

that is exactly how i feel too, so much ranking and voting like how is this not going to have an impact on the girls' self esteem.. i thought the point of the show was to help them grow, not step on them and make them question their talent. like wtf the teaser for nxt ep showed yuqi crying bc the judges' ranking, why do they have to do this to the poor girlies

honestly i hate how iqiyi has made this show so unnecessarily cut throat for the girls, first off with that impossible 24 hour one shot music video and then after making them rank each other and reveal who they picked.. like wtf? why couldn't they follow mnet's good girl and have them work together as a team and battle against another group or sth. should have focused on their sisterhood and bond more than the competition smh. every single person on this show is superbly talented, i would love to see them perform as 10 girls rather than all this cut throat voting and ranking
