I am friends with the girl you are labelling as person B and she is a nice person... she posted that message to warn others because the fact that those people created multiple profiles to attack her was in fact bullying. She told them to stop and that she was done but they just kept on going. It was hypocritical of them to be offended by her blocking them to get peace and them creating multiple profiles to disrupt that peace. Also person A who is blocked she may not have the right way of saying things but she's entitled to her opinion. When she disagreed with that girl her friends also attacked her and she mentioned it on this page too. She said she woke up to over 10 messages... that's kind of intense no?

Yes that girl is their friend and they wanted to defend her but they did not need to hound and attack person B like that. As you said it was a misunderstanding but lol its clear you're taking the side of the girl and her friends. Also just bc person B does not show the extent to which she was affected doesn't mean she wasn't. People cope in different ways especially if you have been bullied growing up. Yess I was just thinking of actresses who are good at melodrama / drama and give good emotional performances when they are acting. I some of them have projects lined up but I expect this will be released near the end of 2024 or even early 2025.

I think Jihye could be a good choice as well and so true we have not seen her have her real breakthrough moment yet (other than CLOY)

Yeah I'm talking about the one from crash landing on you. To me age doesn't matter so long as the actors can truly deliver especially in emotional scenes and have good chemistry (which it seems like this story it will be necessary to show how in love they are) Also I figure they'll use younger actors to represent them in high school so it doesn't matter their ages bc I don't expect the leads to play high schoolers.

They should cast Ahn Eunjin, Jung Somin, Moon Gayoung, IU, Seo Yeaji, Lee Sungkyung, Seo Jihye or Jung Yoomin alongside him.

I'm open to other suggestions (or even underrated actresses) 🤗 I just hope whoever they choose will have good chemistry with him and can nail the overall role.

I'm not sure if you can't read or what but literally nobody said they wanted a copy and paste of swdbs. You're picking apart and twisting what they said. Many people are critiquing the writer used recycled plots / cliches and that's why her show is disappointing.

To put it simply her writing is bs and it's clear she did not know what she was doing. There isn't a plot bc the show is all over the place. The romance sucked, mom and grandma had way too much screentime and if you really want to compare the "so called leads" relationship Nam Soon and Hee Sik were a poor attempt of what a Bong Soon and Min Hyuk were – they did not even come close! There was no build up, nothing. Hell the mom and grandma's love lives were more developed.

Also people are allowed to have had high hopes... this show was sooooo overhyped and it was utterly disappointing. Just because you went into this with the bar set really low and are enjoying this drama doesn't mean you need to project your feelings onto others. The atmosphere is once again toxic bc you people who like the drama cannot and will not accept the fact that not everyone has to agree with you! You say you don't understand but you're willingly choosing to be dense / obtuse.

I agree with almost everything you said. But I'm also not sure this show is comparable or even on the same level as any CW, DC or Marvel show / movie bc at least those shows had some kind of suspense and their plots made sense or they wouldn't have gotten 6-8 seasons and so many movie sequels.

People keep saying persons are only angry about the villain because they shipped him with Nam Soon or thought his death was unjust but that's not the only reason... they just didn't like the overall story also the same recycled plots from SWDBS... I feel like the writers could have tried a bit harder. I guess the show was just blasé to most people and again they hate watched to see the villain get redemption and he ended up dying.

I definitely do think if people rewatched SWBS they might not like it as much because we were all younger then and we'd be able to pick out the plot holes and hold it to a different standard. But imo it was good for the era it was made in. Also, at least the leads in SWDBS had genuine love, care and chemistry though which translated well on screen. I feel like in that regard the family dynamic and relationships were more developed than Nam Soon 😂

I think you have to take into consideration most of us watched SWDBS in 2016-2018… so we were much younger then. It’s also easy to forget things and just remember the good moments / scenes we enjoyed from the drama. In 2023 this drama is just poor writing all around. It makes no sense / doesn’t have a strong plot and I can see why people are being harsh with the ratings.

Many expected more and were disappointed with the final product. This drama did not live up to the hype and yeah a 1 is harsh but maybe it will give the writers a wake up call. If we choose to ignore their bad writing and they continue producing nonsense like this into the future (beyond 2023) it’s just not gonna be tolerated whatsoever. Shows need to be upping their game because people lose interest quickly and hate watching is becoming very popular. People aren’t afraid to say how they feel / what they mean anymore.

They are just immature toddlers whining when people don’t sing their tune. This is a discussion forum for a reason, I mean did they think everyone here would agree? Did they also think people would sit back and listen to their nonsense? Even when nobody is saying anything somehow we’re always dragged into the mix. The drama is so great yet they can't even talk about why they think it’s so great?

Instead they flood the comment section with their resentment towards us or can't stop talking about Ryu Shi Oh (the one they claim they hate?) 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ THAT'S FAN BEHAVIOR.
