Is it just me but I don't see how people can compare dramas that are not even in the same genre / realm 😭 Also why can't you perhaps enjoy both?!

Don't get me wrong... in my opinion SYIM19L held my attention good till the end while KTL fell off after the main leads got together and it just became all about romance and they completely lost plot. I get ppl have different tastes but the fighting is insane.

Idk what TSPCM is about bc I haven't started it yet... but it seems like an entirely different genre to MD. One is comedy while the other is mystery. One is set in modern times and the other is historical / time travel soooo it beats me why they feel they need to put down one drama to uplift the other. Smh

Not all Saeguk's need to have a sad ending for them to be considered great. Change is welcomed. Plus they already suffered so much (majority of this drama was constant pain and suffering unlike others where the leds actually have so many sweet / heartfelt scenes in between) The ending is fitting. I find it heartwarming knowing they get to live out the rest of their lives together and in peace.

I think the script writer is good... it's just that depending on the acting demands some actors are able to meet them and work well under pressure while some will just crumble. I just hope Suzy doesn't ruin this drama. Eun Jin is phenomenal and Woo Bin has shown us he can undertake some emotionally heavy roles.

I agree but also I think it was a struggle for Suzy to act through some of those scenes and seeing that she's gonna play another depressed woman again... idk if that's a wise choice.

Agreed instead of wasting screen time on the stupid grandmothers love affair they could’ve developed his storyline and actually done a whole episode showing his pov + motives. Anyways I digress

I feel like there is no need for a follow up drama… the writers just keep making up shitty illogical storylines. Somehow if there is another spinoff they will ruin that too. This drama is actually so bad even if you had nothing to compare it to it would still be garbage 💀😭 Most interesting thing is the villain for backstory + eye candy purposes. You could literally just watch edits and understand the entire drama. Everyone else just runs around doing nonsensical things like a dumb ass. The romance storylines are all horrid and the main character seems to have a better build up with the villain. Nam Soon’s family is dysfunctional and chaotic much like her, not to mention they are too heavily involved in each others private lives. They pet and pamper her like she is 5 years old and completely forgot about her past with her adoptive parents. She herself is childish and doesn’t deserve to be working alongside a CEO. She just has her super strength and not much else going on up top. Everyone in this drama is so annoying and unbearable to the point where you wish you could reach into the screen and slap them silly. I feel like it’s supposed to be so overly done and satirical. This drama try’s to portray women as the strong ones with men being weaklings and just care takers or seed donors to create babies. Nothing is wrong with that per say bc it’s just supposed to be a silly little drama but it’s far too over the top and not everyone will find it humorous. Anyway, that’s my two cents. You’re not missing out on anything if you do not watch this. Better to just look up the 5 min clip with Bong Bong and Min Min and move on with your life especially if you were a fan of SWDBS.

Just because you may think it needed a sad ending to be good doesn't mean other people share the same sentiments. Also, just because it ended the way it did does not mean it is a fan service.

My so called "insults" were tame. They called me stupid, I called them an imbecile. Imbecile means fool btw. Freak / weirdo was valid because their viewpoint is trash and they were defending such a psychotic character and trying act like the version of events which I recounted was false. It's so clear you guys will always spin the story against Gil Chae in an attempt to paint her as the bad guy or act like she is unworthy of Jang Hyun in some way. What makes you think Gak Hwa is better than her or more deserving of Jang Hyun's love and sympathy? I forget, was it the part where she said she couldn't fathom why the captives would choose to survive instead of just killing themselves? She literally manipulated him the entire time because she knows he has a soft spot for the people of Joseon and people who seem helpless which is why after her father died she tried to kill herself in front of him. She was seeking sympathy/empathy and pity in the hopes that he'd finally give in and sleep with her. Just because you like such a nasty, cold hearted and evil spirited woman does not mean I need to share the same sentiments.
