Go back to Wakanda and lie down for a while. We don't need crazy fans of the villain coming here saying nonsense.
They’re so weird for saying go back to Wakanda? Like did they actually find that funny?!

WOWWWW. YOUR RACISM IS SHOWING

Just sit with yourself and think. Absolutely disgusting person.

You know you look pathetic for being upset because someone gives their opinion about liking the KDrama??? If you…
Clearly the reviews have left you flabbergasted or you willingly are choosing to stay blind / overlook the comments. It’s all right in front of you. Don’t bother lecturing me about ratings when they’re dropping every day. YOU SOUND AND LOOK SILLY!

Also you’re in the minority. Idk why you’re contesting it when it’s literally A FACT. Have a look around or simply scroll. All over social media this drama is HATED 💀💀💀 it’s a top contender for WORST drama of the year.

It's not my fault you have poor taste, bad judgment and nonexistent comprehension skills. You can’t even list out a few things you liked about this drama. Know why? BECAUSE IT’S NOT GOOD. Even if you did try… you would just end up looking and sounding RIDICULOUS!

So maybe it’s time for you and @RickyyouW to shut up!

Yeah you can’t handle the truth or read it seems. Typical 🤭

If you are only at episode 7 why are you trying to discredit and invalidate people who have sat and watched the entire drama all the way through?? Mind you they watched it from beginning to end when it aired weekly? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.

There is something called having a different opinion. Stop trying to force your views down everyone’s throat! For goodness sake you are on here calling people out for being toxic yet your the one commenting the same thing every time??? Surely there is a way for you to make your point without having to bring up persons who disliked the show and make your negative remarks towards them, I promise you they don’t care. It’s like you are actively looking to start drama / an argument. This negativity is not needed.

Giving it a 1 is completely valid. Stop trying to invalidate peoples opinion when many clearly listed all the reasons they did not like the drama. It goes further than not liking it just because the villain died. You sound ridiculous. Also these people are not “meaningless teenagers” their human beings just like you!

LIKE THE DRAMA ALL YOU WANT THAT WON’T CHANGE THE FACT THAT THE MAJORITY DISLIKES / HATES IT.

If you liked it great but stop trying to force your opinion down other peoples throats!

They’re literally calling you guys out for the comments towards us??? Make it make sense.

Once again you people who liked the drama are in the MINORITY and you feel as though only your opinion is valid and anyone who hates the drama is “a teenage girl” or haunting because their “villain” died. Bruh even if the villain did not die this drama would not be getting a high rating. It’s mid at best and absolute buffoonery at worst!

OP was trying to give her take on the situation bc the lot of you are flooding the comments with your nonsense “I don’t understand why people hate it” UH READ THE COMMENTS???? It’s so clear you people are so far gone you don’t have a clue as to what’s going on here.

Behaving like this over a fictional character yet you’re the one calling us out for liking or sympathizing with him???? I would laugh but it’s really not funny anymore.

Again it’s clear whether you like him or not he is the plot of the show bc y’all can’t stop yapping about him or coming at people for liking him for one second.

The MAJORITY can agree this drama was trash, poorly written and not well executed at all!

Argue with yourself or educate yourself.

The choice is yours.

Completely agree they’re calling you / us pathetic but the difference is some people know how to be honest with themselves or actually have good judgement / taste!

Girl not the homeless man 💀💀
He dumped the girl bc according to him he said she didn't need him anymore. He cast her to the side after all they went through together. He really hurt her after she even shared the last of her gimbap with him when they were poor, homeless and starving.

She stayed rich while he lost all of his money and became penniless / homeless again when a scandal was released that he was living with her in the ger (apparently contract he signed for the acting clearly stated this or something)

They weren't really in the show a lot so you didn't miss much. They showed up at the beginning and the very end. The homeless guy helped Nam Soon find another homeless person once but it was so random 😭💀

I never thought I will post such a big comment, but here I go. First of all, my honest opinion about the drama,…
*takes deep breath*

Again it’s the writers who thought he was irredeemable and if they really thought that they shouldn’t have allowed Nam Soon to fill his head with nonsense that he was a light who didn’t know he was real or fake. They clearly initially wanted the show to go in a different direction but we’re too scared to see how it would be received by the audience. They literally milked and alluded to a budding romance between him and Nam Soon and decided to just make him pure evil. Nobody is saying Nam Soon needed to be his therapist. Be so fr!! THE WRITERS ARE THE ONES WHO RUINED HIS CHARACTER AFTER GIVING HIM SUCH A GOOD BACK STORY / ARC AND BUILD UP. You definitely did not understand the show and again you believe Shi Oh is not redeemable bc the writers MADE IT THAT WAY. Had they written it differently y’all would be singing a different tune and saying OH THE WRITERS SHOULD NOT HAVE MADE HIM GOOD BLAH BLAH BLAH.

You can’t say none of us felt bad for Hwa Ja that’s simply not true but the fact is you people thought she was redeemable even though she tried to kill Nam Soon and literally manipulated Geum Ju and the family for a whole month! That’s borderline psychotic.

Again it’s obvious you only see as much as the writers want you to see. You people would not have come to this conclusion if Geum Ju and Nam Soon did not forgive Hwa Ja and give her a second chance at life. The fact of the matter is Nam Soon’s lies and betrayal drove Shi Oh to the edge he was already barely hanging on and ready to let someone in but she betrayed him. He just wanted someone to trust and care about him but she proved to him that nobody ever would and he was better off on his own. How would you feel if you were in his position? Yeah I thought so. It’s clear most of you are on the wrong side of right and your empathy is conditional based on whether you like the character or not. Ryu Shi Oh was a morally grey man up until he went off the rails and killed one person btw… you act as if all the people who died from the drug were his victims. They were Pavels victims and Shi Oh was just the face of Doogo. He was being used as just as much as the other people in Pavel. What he created was the antidote, he didn’t want people to die and he was going to use the antidote to free himself from Pavel’s control. Brush up on your facts.

Even at the end Nam Soon and Hee Sik realized he could have been saved if he had someone to trust. TOO FREAKING LATE. She and her loser fiancé had sympathy for him when everything was all said and done. It’s just such poor writing tbh. Like don’t feel sorry for the bad guy when you hated him and toyed with him all along and literally drove him to the edge. Shi Oh was backed into a corner and there was no way out for him. Nobody showed him there was another way or tried to help him.

I am not sure.. I feel like opinion can vary even in Korea but Netflix exposure to international audiences does help these actors a lot... Like you said True beauty... that drama is not available on Netflix while other dramas that are seem to get more praise / recognition like Castaway Diva, My Demon, 2521, Squid Game, All of Us Are Dead, Destined With You and even King the Land are more widely noticed / talked about because of Netflix. They are constantly hyped up and ranking in top 10 in many countries which boosts their worth in a sense.

Unknown / underrated actors can start getting recognized and gain instant stardom and millions of followers overnight just like what happens with western tv shows. When you see an actor jump from less than 3k followers to 1M in a day or two it’s pretty insane. This would open up the actors to more brand, modeling deals and opportunities.

Nam Soon is proof of this especially in the early stages of the drama. It's just that most people were hate watching (which many Netflix users do) the drama because they stayed for the villain and so in the end they don't give the drama a high rating bc they never really liked it from the getgo. So even if the villain didn’t die they just could not give it a high rating bc they never intended to. This contrasts with korean netizens seemed to like it from beginning to end. They actually liked Nam Soon’s character, saw the bad guy as one dimensional, inhumane and wanted him dead.

I think it’s just different perspectives bc internationally people wanted enemies to lovers… nationally people accepted the show for what is was and enjoyed the silliness / lack of substance bc they were clearly watching solely entertainment and not looking for such a deep or well developed storyline. Some also tuned in because of the top Korean actors they put in the drama (especially the older cast) who most of us younger viewers didn’t care about / appreciate.
