You should watch some BTS scenes from tencent. It’s hilarious. There is one where he got up and hit his knees. That one seems painful. He has to practice with these kneeling and bowing etc for this drama. I don’t think they just know how to do so wo knowledge of the custom. Love that you are very detailed here. He is bad due to his wrong tactics of getting CSS’s attention esp saying mean things to her but he has his intentions of wanting her, and I know he will redeem himself later on…there is character growth there for him. I want to give him a chance. Otherwise, Mama Cheng just lost it for me…so she is now on this list.

This is worth watching if you want some comedy, familial struggles, relationship and character buildup, and slow burn romance with intensity. This is no sweet cutesy kind of stuff like the two you mentioned here. You will be hooked like me and be on repeats a lot! Lol. I am now nut with this drama

Oh my. A friendly imperial visit turned into a betrothal upswing . I didn’t anticipated he would do it like in front of everyone. The teaser didn’t show it clearly. The whole entire royal family is present.
I cannot help but to comment on CSS’s mother condemning her again. I have mentioned it before, her love for CSS is all wrong. They have a baobei right there but they are yet to know her value in so many ways. She is smart, quick-wit, caring, kind, very considerate and everything else except being a ladylike and having a demure manner like Yangyang. But that is WHO she is, and like CSS said, that is how she is. Take it or leave it, LbY. But “OF COURSE”! He knows her best, out of everyone, he loves her the most!!! Always there (coincidence or not) saved and rescued her out of tough situations since day one. They make the best couple in this drama. Besides love, he can protect her by all means whether it’s a knife to her neck or being bullied by all these annoying noble girls. Despite his past, his passion for her is intense!! Watching through the screen, I can see he yearns for her so much, at EVERY encounters, by looking/glancing/staring at her. Oh my, I always feel like 110 degrees in my room whenever I see them in the same screen, lol. Their chemistry is that good! Whoever said they don’t feel it, please buy a magnifying glasses to help you.
This last ep was particularly awesome. He saves the day again for her. From previous eps, you already know LBY’s intention of marrying Niaoniao already after hearing Lady Ruyang chatted with his stepmom. He wants to save her reputation but it’s not for that reason only, he also loves her for a long time. He was willing to respect her decision since day one, letting her go and quietly helping her with LY’s needs for their marriage, He didn’t use any dirty tricks to get her or annoyed her like YS. He is just letting her be and can only do things to see her somehow. But this guy is always getting hurt by her, lol, physically or emotionally (her ignorance of his feelings). Nevertheless, he still LOVES her. He is so whipped by his gentleness around her.
They both live for themselves and not caring about others think. He knows who she is, so he accepts it all. My God, this man is so rare like I said before. Where can you find one in modern days?!
Some had mentioned his dark past will come back to haunt him and implicated her, but if they can work together and withstand this. Nothing can break them! Love is a powerful thing, and it can make or breaks you.
