While waiting, I am Joining the “rewatch” train with ep 15. It’s too funny with three guys are all smitten by CSS for different reasons. From the rain scene to the dinner scene to the Master’s story, they are so jealous of LY and CSS’s PDA as he covered her ears to his determination of marrying her and not letting her wait on him to “I will only save ShaoShang” in his eyes. Good job LY for knowing what you want and go for it wo hesitation or hidden agenda, lol. YS’s eye rolling is classic jealousy and his tolerance of his Master, oh boy, I have to give him some credits and like him for his ways to gaining her attention. This guy can only be mean and annoying to get her to notice him yet he has millions of girls chased after him easily. Also, the General has tons of girl including princesses after him but he doesn’t even give them any glances like he does for CSS, the longing. Oh my heart ❤️ . She is a legend here!
The Master’s story and his howling cracked me up so much. He told the story to them but each of them eagerly were testing CSS to hear her POV on love, but this girl can only use logic to deciper the reasoning to the girl’s breaking the engagement wo any knowledge of her own love and future fate that she will also have to go through it three times!!!

He is doing it right but that cause CSS to even hate him more. He is truly a fighter regardless how this girl hates him. I love their moments the most, funny and cute!
For Luo Yao, he is such a sweet and cute man who only knows to chase CSS by fattening her and giving her things she wants. He is still young and naive with love as well. This man is honest and true to her, maybe this is best match for what she wants not knowing where her heart truly lies yet. It’s like a teenager’s first love, attracting to someone by their looks and deeds but unsure where their heart really lies as they explore their relationship some more.
These three men would do anything for CSS!!! If she can have all three, a general to protect her, a scholar to guide and teach her, and a sweet obedient man to spoil her…CSS’s life is complete, esp to make up for her sad past. Considering all this, CSS is the luckiest girl!!!!

Oh my god. Ep 12 is hilarious. I laughed so loud at the third uncle’s fainting spree and his fight for attention with Niaoniao made the whole fighting/war scene not as sad and serious.
The whole LBY’s shirtless scene with Niaoniao is classic hotness. His eyes are so engrossed into her, showing He is so deep in love with her. At every chance he glances or look at her, he is full of tenderness, care and love even he is hurt, exhausted and worn out from fighting and the long trip. She asked if he is in pain, obviously, but he returned with deeper love for her and care for her hand, lmao. Wow, the chemistry between these two is off the chart!!! He couldn’t stop looking at her, near or far away. He would keep all her things, including necklace’s string and even the handkerchief she had used. Lol, he would rather wiped the blood off his attendance than the handkerchief. This guy is so screwed and whipped by her. Leo Wu plays this character so well, cold to everyone but so hot and warm with Niaonaio, the kind of attention and love she really needs from someone. This series really take me on an emotional roller coaster ride, every episode so far, I have cried and laughed so hard wo realizing it. Amazing!

I really cannot stand CSS’s mother. She may have a lot of guilts for abandoning her daughter in the first place. She is prideful so she can only see flaws and expect perfection in CSS. Most mother is harder on their own kids vs others bc of this type of expectation. Heck, I expect my own daughter to behave most of the time, which she isn’t and make me feel like a failure as a mother. This drama takes out of the context a little bit in my opinion but then I wouldn’t treat my daughter that way if I have been away from her for such a long time. I would try to build the relationship and nurturing my daughter with love and support even she lacks manners. No matter what, no mother should treat their daughters and abused them in such a way. I really hate this style of traditional upbringing so much! My own mother would not hit me that hard even I misbehaved. Punishment should fit the crime, but this is not one of those military style. This is too much in ep. 10. How is the kid gonna learn love ever if this is all they receive from their OWN mother. But I would NEVER want to pass down this type of parenting to the next generation.
I have been Zhao Lu Si’s fan for a long time since I accidentally discovered her from “oh my emperor” drama and have watched every single drama she is in. I am crazy, and I know it.
