Would you by chance remember what those scenes taken from The Untamed are? I didn't recognise any by myself (but I also wasn't looking out for it).

For me it was the typical "first few episodes are fast paced and flirty, then there is this hugely long super basic plot with super meh villains".

While the FL ZJY of that is good (even paired with HYT, who isn't among China's best male actors), LYX totally steals the show.

This is more of mature romance than the super tropey rollercoaster stuff with misunderstandings and rivals and whatnot.
In other words, there's a lot of sweet scenes in this show and the leads spend a lot of time on screen together.
The sole show that is on your PTW list (When Destiny Brings the Demon) goes into a similar direction too, while something like You Are My Glory has a lot of post-getting-together episodes.

One of those shows where I can't empathize with second lead syndrome at all (not that I ever did elsewhere, to be fair).

There are other commenters below who were a tad upset with the VR being nothing but plot hole galore.
A few exemplary low-hanging fruit:
- they kiss wearing VR goggles? would just bump into each other.
- on the security cam footage, they aren't wearing any gear.
- such a huge area, train and all, can't just casually be on the backyard or underground of the outside building used in the show, in the middle of a city and all
- that amount of 'NPC actors' and real estate couldn't possibly be affordable with the low amount of game participants
- if ML allegedly designed the whole city as architect, how long would it have taken him to do that alongside his regular day job, and how long would construction have taken if it's actual buildings and not just some 3D printed prefab stuff or a merely virtual area?

1) It's not an "annoying touchy SML show"; very good boundaries

There's an audience for everything.
For other people, say, a show where the leads get together at 75% or later gets a lower rating, and five seconds before the end is seen as downright offensive.

Dunno how much you watched of You Are My Glory since you put it as dropped w/o ep count, but that seems like a show you really wouldn't like in that specific light. (There, after the leads get together, absolutely nothing meaningful happens, and the show goes on for a bazillion more hours.)

In this show you don't only have "the parents can enter your private space at any time, and what they say goes", but also "the eldest son has to carry all the burden, without flaws, or else..." (⛳)

He got caught in his web of lies, divorced, and indeed never seen again.

We don't know how much of an affair he actually had (if he just was 1x "kissed against his will and then pushed her away" or it was a lengthy thing).
