You can take it as a "the FL tests the ML until the very end", if you so want. She doesn't have feelings for anyone else, outside of the "ex-boyfriend" in the pre-story intro.
She is not a veteran actress. She has done very few dramas and all poorly rated. (I think she has backing in the…
Cheng Xiao was kind of bearable in Fangs and is back to murky in here for my tastes. Doesn't help that everyone in Glory has way too much eye makeup and on her (and Neo) it has the worst effects.
A number of one-sided nothing-kisses or cheek kisses etc. (I'm counting one of the leads kissing the other on the mouth while they are doing the standard big eyes drama stare reaction.)
Two open-mouthed "eating each other" ones, of which the first was explicit about the leads sleeping with each other.
Maybe one or two of the side couples have one or two kisses each.
the acting and everything eles is top notch. the plot is lacking and I don’t even find it that amusing. plain…
For me it was the typical "first few episodes are fast paced and flirty, then there is this hugely long super basic plot with super meh villains". Not as disappointing as Kill Me Love Me in that regard, but...
i loved the drama but wanted more for the bestfriend's story and my poor pei zhen he did only one thing bad that…
Some of the very first things he does are, well, criminal? White collar crimes are crimes too. Morally (and legally) bad stuff isn't limited to beating people up with sports equipment.
It is kinda frustrating to see the ML's inability to express himself. He does not communicate well, while she…
"Traumatized from childhood" is a compulsory part of the CEO starter kit. But considering he's essentially a ruthless backstabber in the very beginning (in the VR game), he does improve fast, doesn't he?
that geo-blocking business is pretty bizarre/stupid business model. like if i check the "latest" on iq.com…
In some ways, the streaming wars just serve to make piracy look good. Though pirate streaming sites like kiss are more 'ugly piracy' than 'pretty piracy' - your pixels won't be as pretty as those of well-paying customers.
I fall in love deeper with lu yu xiao in here, i mean, ive wtch her in my journey to you, with sassy, bada$$ girl…
You haven't seen https://kisskh.at/749431-the-story-of-hua-zhi yet, right? While the FL ZJY of that is good (even paired with HYT, who isn't among China's best male actors), LYX totally steals the show.
Could anyone spoil when they get together and if there’s a breakup? And if anyone has any suggestions for shows…
This is more of mature romance than the super tropey rollercoaster stuff with misunderstandings and rivals and whatnot. In other words, there's a lot of sweet scenes in this show and the leads spend a lot of time on screen together. The sole show that is on your PTW list (When Destiny Brings the Demon) goes into a similar direction too, while something like You Are My Glory has a lot of post-getting-together episodes.
When Hu Xiu snuck backstage and into the game to alert Zhi Yo about Pei Zhen, did anyone else notice she never…
There are other commenters below who were a tad upset with the VR being nothing but plot hole galore. A few exemplary low-hanging fruit: - they kiss wearing VR goggles? would just bump into each other. - on the security cam footage, they aren't wearing any gear. - such a huge area, train and all, can't just casually be on the backyard or underground of the outside building used in the show, in the middle of a city and all - that amount of 'NPC actors' and real estate couldn't possibly be affordable with the low amount of game participants - if ML allegedly designed the whole city as architect, how long would it have taken him to do that alongside his regular day job, and how long would construction have taken if it's actual buildings and not just some 3D printed prefab stuff or a merely virtual area?
i noticed hu xiu's steps is a bit... off? it's awkward in my opinion. any thoughts on this one? like does she…
I read hateful CN online commenters hate on her for consequences of her childhood spinal injury. (Personally haven't noticed it, but I'm not much of a walk analyzer.)
This is an unpopular opinion but it was only okay till ep 19-20. After that it became boring. There was no reason…
There's an audience for everything. For other people, say, a show where the leads get together at 75% or later gets a lower rating, and five seconds before the end is seen as downright offensive.
Dunno how much you watched of You Are My Glory since you put it as dropped w/o ep count, but that seems like a show you really wouldn't like in that specific light. (There, after the leads get together, absolutely nothing meaningful happens, and the show goes on for a bazillion more hours.)
I dont like at all the Chinese parents. Why they control, they imposed what kind of relationship thei children…
In this show you don't only have "the parents can enter your private space at any time, and what they say goes", but also "the eldest son has to carry all the burden, without flaws, or else..." (⛳)

We don't know how much of an affair he actually had (if he just was 1x "kissed against his will and then pushed her away" or it was a lengthy thing).
