KBS2 dailies are rarely under 100 episodes, only Ruby Ring had 93 eps.
Yeah, it's pretty similar to US/other countries' TV/entertainment. If you wanna dip into daily dramas, I highly recommend Temptation of Wife, it's VERY famous. There were about 4 or 5 remakes of it. Chinese, Thai, Filipino, Vietnamese, don't know if there's another one...
