If you want, you can also Google pictures of them together. Idk why it's my job to do research on your favorite pedophile, but, sure. I guess you wanna see a video of them fucking, too? Are you into that?
You pretending that Kim Groomer is innocent is... your opinion. It is not proven as a fact. This is YOUR bias and you feigning ignorance. At least Lee Jin-Wook was proven innocent. Park Yoo-Chun wasn't. Neither was Seungri. But I bet you'd defend the last 2 anyway.

Climax is about the link between politics and the entertainment industry and how actresses are treated like bargaining…
For Climax, even if the ratings are low, it's still very popular. That last part you mentioned- THAT right there? That's a very low-key form of orientalism. And essentially another form of racism towards Koreans, ironic, because like I said before- Korea and "the West" have had international relations for decades now, culture-wise since the 80s and politically since the 50s (hello, Korean War!) So the "westernized" claim is nonsense, especially when Western influence in Korea has existed for so long.
This line of reasoning eventually always leads to fetishization of Koreans and idol worship. These are the same people who attack k-pop idols for dating each other, or worship certain actors/singers regardless of whatever awful things they have done. K-dramas have historically had a "bad image" in the West, anyway, people generally assume that they're all clichรฉ, poorly acted, juvenile romance dramas from 2005 with 1-dimensional characters. NOW that k-dramas are breaking away from those outdated stereotypes, it's a problem? Now that we're seeing complexity, character development, different types of protagonists, directing, and more intricate writing, it's Westernized? Hmm... what does that say about this commenter? ๐ค
Even c-dramas are evolving. Why is it bad for k-dramas to do the same thing?

I agree. And the fact it's a woman doing this as both the screenwriter and director is incredibly brave. Very daring, too. It's a shame that people don't like it just because the FL is a lesbian (and it's not even a GL drama.) Maybe you accidentally deleted your comment. I would love to see your thoughts on it. ๐ฅฐ
What are you thinking the team will do? For me I can see a possible open-ended ending, like a cliffhanger... or a pyrrhic victory where the couple has everything they ever wanted, but at a major cost.

Ha, thanks Marie. Some people on here are ridiculous and nasty for no reason. They really get off on attacking people- I don't kink-shame, but, keep it in the bedroom, ya know? ๐ I've seen much more crazier dramas than this one.
Is she an anti-heroine or a villain protagonist? Because a lot of y'all on here mix the 2 of them up. ๐ Based on what I'm reading, she's a villain protagonist? At least an anti-villain?
I know you're not a fan of Jin Se Yeon from the start your obviously bias of other actors but I want you to know…
I understand that. I would and I do (sometimes), especially if they're being nasty. Performance is subjective, so I usually try to recommend other dramas/genres! But attacking the actor/actress as a person? That's not right at all. Not unless they've done something AWFUL. There's a difference between reel and real. Misogyny is such a big problem on this site (every time I call it out, I get hounded for it. It sucks. ๐) Especially since it's basically women fighting with other women over women...
Climax isn't a GL drama (contrary to what people are saying), Ha Ji-Won is playing a lesbian. The drama is a political thriller with melodrama (so a melodramatic political thriller?) Very noir. I recommend watching it, even if it's not your usual taste in dramas. Ha Ji-Won, from what I now know about her (this is my first time watching her and I've fallen so hard for her. Girl crush of the year lmao), has always done daring or unique roles (like Damo, Empress Ki, Hospital Ship, Something Happened In Bali, etc.) I haven't watched Trauma Code or Kingdom, but I think I've heard of Kingdom? Also, Nana is in Climax and she's doing great...
Thanks for understanding my perspective! I truly appreciate it. Queen: Love and War is on my plan to watch list. I might watch it someday and see how Jin Se-Yeon's performance is there, too. I do mostly blame the script (considering how disappointing Ji-Ho was.) I think, for lighthearted dramas, I recommend My Father Is Strange, Sunny Again Tomorrow, High Kick, and Assorted Gems.

Okay, I know she's your favorite actress (or seems to be, I've seen you going to war for her lol) so I'm not gonna be mean. No worries, sometimes actors seem bad but it's really the directing's fault. HOWEVER, it's the character too- Da-Mi is extremely underdeveloped compared to the rest of the main/central characters. Her performance here doesn't help, she also seems extremely inexperienced compared to the rest of the main actors. This is my perspective and this is what I've been seeing since the beginning of the drama. It's okay that she's inexperienced or awkward here. This is a much older drama. I have no problem with her being "bad" here- it's happened to some of my favorite actresses too!
Maybe she is better in other genres as you say. That's fine! I'm not a fan of her performance here, and I'm sure she's very talented. Regarding the character herself, the only reason why I say that she's not the FL is because she's the 2nd FL. Not all 2nd FLs are necessarily villains, but they tend to be antagonists. And she has little significance in the drama at this point... All the promo materials show Chae Shira (Young-Rang) as the protagonist/FL, she's just a villain protagonist. Think Light Yagami, Walter White, etc. Hell, even with the ML, Ji-Ho, I couldn't stand him for most of this drama. And Ju Ji-Hoon is a great actor, I'm watching him in Climax and he is KILLING IT there. Ji Chang-Wook is solid here as the villainous 2nd ML, In-Ha. The supporting cast is pretty good (the only one I don't really care for is In-Ha's fiance.) I've heard of Recipe For Love, sounds like a family/romance drama. I don't attack actresses and I TRY not to- in fact, that's my main problem with this site. People are WAY too harsh on actresses, far more than they are on male actors (especially if some male actors have committed crimes. Yikes.)
I like Kim Sun-Ok as a makjang writer. Band of Sisters, Penthouse, Angel's Temptation, and Cruel Temptation are all iconic makjang dramas and some of my personal favorites ever. I am not familiar with the director. Five Fingers, though, will definitely NOT be one of my favorite makjangs or favorite dramas. I'm not a fan of it and I find it to be slow & boring. Also, the revenge only started in the last third? Yeah, this is a major disappointment because I was actively looking forward to watching this. They could've cut this drama by at least 10 episodes, maybe more. Wouldn't rewatch either.
This must be the kind of daily drama you can watch once a week and miss nothing in it... lol
All these theories, man! I think if Baek-Ho ends up being Hwa-Young's kid, I'm gonna be annoyed ๐ญ but it's the most "makjang" route they could take!
