If it's a deserved, brutal death, I like it. Escape of the Seven did a good job with this, same with Penthouse. If it's accidental/sacrificial, not so much.

Episode 19 might be the best one in the drama so far! Ji-Ho's comeback, the engagement party, the reveal that Young-Rang has a long-lost son (I think it's Ji-Ho), Woo-Jin's death, Gye-Hwa being perceptive AF... it's SO good. I might give Ji-Ho a second chance. Maybe, maybe not.

Hong Da-Mi's acting is so bad here to the point where I just skip her scenes... again, I'm glad she's not the FL. They really should've casted Ham Eun-Jung, she would've been far more convincing. Jin Se-Yeon seems to have the same expression in every scene and 0 chem with either of the male leads. I'm not sure if she's generally a bad actress or if her acting just isn't good HERE. I seriously hope it's the latter and I don't wanna hate on an actress for no good reason (unlike some people on here.)

In order for me to even try and like Ji-Ho, the man needs to grow some brains and stop blaming Young-Rang for everything. Irritating. I still like In-Ha more than him. 🙄 Also, I still can't take him seriously with that emo bowl cut... lol

I see why Chae Shi-Ra's character is the protagonist/FL, she is DEVOURING her scenes! What an amazing actress!!!

I also think it was Sang-Ah who really stabbed OKJ, I want her to be actively villainous rather than flip between a constant victim and super manipulative.

I wonder what the intro sequence means? The crown one for Tae-Seop might be obvious, and the spotlight might be for Sang-Ah (or represent the pinnacle of power), but the rest?

You mean Uhm Hyun-Kyung? Yeah, like I said, she's definitely being typecast. She's a good actress, so that sucks. (I liked her the most in Second Husband.)

I don't like it now either! I don't need this to be a GL drama, but why can't Sang-Ah's same-sex relationships be presented with depth and proper development?

Man. When they said "Climax", I did NOT think they meant it like that... but I have to say, the writers ARE relying on shock value a little bit to me. Based on a great discussion I had with someone on here, it's like the sensationalism is being emphasized in favor of the plot & character development, and it's becoming harder to ignore. Pacing, too. This is the biggest flaw of the drama for me. The cast? Great. Actors? Amazing. Premise? Fantastic! The portrayal of Sang-Ah's sexuality? Bold. Very, very bold. But a tiny bit... fetishy? It's surprising, but is there any DEPTH to her relationship with Jung-Won? Or is it just to say, "Ooooh, look at these lesbians! They're getting it on!" What's the POINT, PD Lee?

Also, I can't tell what's going on with Sang-Ah's character at this point. Yang-Mi is just evil for evil's sake, which is fine, but she's so bland as a character compared to everyone else. She's basically a Hate Sink (TV Tropes reference, lol) Jong-Wook has done nothing of substance. Tae-Seop is confusing at times. I'm glad Jung-Won got some development because the constant blank stares got annoying... 😭 The characterization isn't the best and the plot direction is very vague right now. I also think that the themes need to be emphasized a bit more, in my opinion. This is JUST critique- I still enjoy the drama. But it's finishing up soon and I felt like expressing some of my more controversial thoughts. We're almost at the finish line, so I'll see it through.

Despite Lee Yang-Mi being completely one-dimensional, she definitely killed it here.

The urination/golf ball scene was UNNECESSARY.

Honestly, you're not wrong. They do discuss how celebrities are treated by people in power, but making Sang-Ah's sexuality seem so 😍scandalous😍 and "forbidden" is... yeah. Rubs me the wrong way now. I never considered that before. 🤔

Glad to see someone smart here. My only issues with the drama is the reliance on shock value and the pacing. Other than that, it's pretty good. 👍🏽
