And just like that, Tae-Ju's villain arc is complete 😭 he's doing the same thing that Sung-Jin Group did to his father almost 20 years ago out of greed! Seo-Yun crossed the Rubicon several episodes ago... villainess or not, I'm rooting for her all the way! And I still want Jung-Hee to die already! Also, this episode made me feel so bad for Won-Jae... I hated him the most initially. He didn't deserve to get sent out like that. So who's running Sung-Jin Group now? Seo-Yun?
Mi-Ran? Or Hae-Ra? If anyone has obvious plastic surgery, it's Eun-Seol. Her facial expressions seem so stiff…
Hae-Ra is also a villain which is why I asked. But I agree, Mi-Ran looks very, very pale and thin... KBS2 dailies and their white ass makeup lol. Probably age but I hope she's okay in real life. She looked better in Witch's Game and in the movie Toxic Parents.
The acting style might play a role? JSH isn't a screaming villainess like most dailies have... although Hae-Ra is doing that already. She's so annoying 🙄 the acting is very good on all fronts so far, including Eun-Seol's.
Someone, please explain to me what's going on with the daughters, because I am confused after today's episode.Hae…
This is what I said because it's what the previews implied. Eun-Seol being Mi-Ran's daughter seemed like a red herring to me! WAY too much of an easy reveal.
Another solid episode. Pretty fast pace. Idk... in the previews for the drama, there was a birth switch that was implied. I already knew that Eun-Seol was Mi-Ran's daughter from the get-go, but I feel like there's gonna be a twist later. 🤔 There always is.
I'm pretty much only watching for Mi-Ran lol, I'm neutral on the Chung-Ma Group parents (the CEO dad and the actress, Kim Jung-Sun), I find Hae-Ra annoying, I can't really stand Eun-Seol, Seok-Jin is getting on my nerves with the borderline stalking (it's 2026. This trope is outdated and it's NEVER been romantic...), I hate Eun-Seol's grandma. I like Eun-Guk (?) and Hee-Jung, the mom (lol seeing Seo Yu-Jung play a good person is still so crazy to me), the dad will be comic relief so I'm definitely skipping his scenes in the future. I wanna meet the 2nd ML now and I'm curious about Seok-Jin's mom.
I also wanna see how far Mi-Ran's villainy goes. Right now, she's playing the meticulous, cold, mastermind role. It's very different from a typical villainess role in these dailies, she's not screaming, she's calculated and manipulative. Jang Seo-Hee's performance is giving me chills. I really like it! Her characterization is great so far. What other secrets does she have? Why is she set on taking Chung-Ma? What's up with her past? 👀
i watch episode 1 and dont understand so I drop it. I dont understand why there is a need for season 2.
1. At least try to continue it, I didn't understand the first part of episode 1 either 😭 but it's very important because it connects to rest of the drama eventually. 2. The writer wanted to do 12 episodes but Disney+ made him split it up into 2 parts. 3. Maybe this isn't your type of drama? It's definitely an... acquired taste. No romance, mainly political, grey characters, villain protagonist. Not everyone's into that lol
Nah, Hae-Ra is the FL Mi-Ran's daughter. Eun-Seol is the daughter of the Chung-Ma family, based on what I've seen…
I'm gonna watch today's episode and see! 👀 I thought Hae-Ra was her real daughter because Mi-Ran seems so devoted to her and there was a birth switch... so... if my guess is off, I'll take the L 😭

Note: The BGM is incredible!
