What they need to do is start exploring other genres instead of lackluster ass romcoms (with HORRIBLE writing for women) that got outdated at least a decade ago. Oh, and I hate how male-centered so many k-drama fans are... like girl, GET UP! 😭

That was quick! But yes, I loved season 1 too. Ye-Jin is very plucky. Haven't watched Signal (I'm also currently watching Mouse, I definitely recommend it!) Recently people seem more open to non-romcoms/romance dramas, so there's hope... 🤔 and thanks. I think we'll be good friends too. 😁

That first episode was CRAZY!!!! I loved the last third. With Yu-Ji and Ki-Tae teaming up, Yu-Ji becoming kumicho, Chairman Ikeda's death, the President getting killed, all the conspiracies??? This is amazing!

I also loved how Ye-Jin has changed so much, she's not comic relief anymore and she's grown beyond being the quirky love interest. Gun-Young hasn't appeared yet. Hwang Dae-Sik is annoying. Ki-Tae is incredible as always.

Right? I wouldn't rely on MDL ratings for dramas. Haven't done so in a few years lol. The vast majority of people outside of this platform LOVE IT- why do you think Hyun Bin got an award for his role? It's also somewhat popular outside of Korea. People here don't watch these kinds of dramas. I'm currently watching episode 1 of season 2 and I like it so far.

Oh Seung-Ah isn't a bad actress, she just doesn't suit the role of a heroine (in MY honest opinion.) She's much better as a villainess- she played the evil protagonist/FL Shin Hwa-Kyung in Secrets and Lies!

I blame that lady the most. Very nasty. From what we know Mi-Ran was at the orphanage since she was about 3 (we don't know how she got there), I'd be desperate to leave after 4 years too 😭 I don't think she was born evil or anything like that. But Jung-Sun is truly innocent in all this.

If I were Mi-Ran, I'd go on a villain arc too... I'm an orphan, you get me all dolled up and excited, thinking I'm finally gonna be adopted... and THEN you change your mind at the last second over some flowers?! Sincerely, fuck you. I actually understand her more now. Now, going after Jung-Sun isn't right, but I'd be pretty angry. Just... not to the point I'd become a psychopath. Or an Ice Queen. 😂

That being said, I think it's interesting that Jung-Sun is hiding the fact that she was adopted. Mi-Ran could expose it at any moment. 👀 And I really wanna know how Ae-Suk became Mi-Ran, too. Loved the Eun-Seol scenes (outside of the flop triangle) today. She's a great heroine- I honestly love both her AND Mi-Ran. I also loved the interactions between Jung-Sun and Eun-Seol. Young-Hun seems to be in the dark about a lot of things.

Oh, and can the grandma DIE ALREADY???? That lady is obnoxious! I'm trying so hard to avoid her in the actual episode, now I have to deal with her in the previews too?! Good God! 🙄
