I wasn't prepared to see ugly and unnecessary ai slop scenes in production with such great cast... My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
I didn't like the manga I would even say it's the worst thing I read in a long while so I wasn't expecting anything checking out this series but suprisingly it's better than I thought- not good but at least it's not as bad as manga lol Mostly because Ai in the series is better, in manga he had such a bad personality and was sooo anoying plus autor drew him in such a wierd way.. like he looks like a child...

Imo despite how crazy and stupid his breakup plan was, at least his behavior makes sense- since he's young it's only given he is still emotionally immature and he lacks communication skills and this is his first relationship so the fuckups are normal Maybe if he had a larger group of close people to talk to, they would have talked him out of this wierd plan, but no, he only has Mochi who has a crush on him and beef with Rin, so of course there was no one to help him get his shit toghether I'm not saying what he did was right I would have hard time forgiving something like this if I was Rin but from viewers perspective it's at least understandable and he has a lot of room for growth so if the show is well writen his development could be really interesting to watch

tbf the actors in the 2016 version were similar in age I think I never finished the original series and after watching a few eps of this new version I'm dropping it as well, buuuut comparing the two versions - the original one was more edgy and problematic (like no-consent scenes and getting drunk) sooo at least in that regard there's progress- that they're not making such young actors act such innapropriate scenes ?

Seo HanGyeol is so pretty I can't focus on what's happening when she's on the screen and have to keep rewatching her scenes lol She's acting really good, what a shame she's primarily a stage actress I'd love to see her more
I liked it but I think this series would be better to me if it was longer. Then the plot wouldn't be so fast-paced, we could really get attached to the characters, we would get more christian guilt (yes, I think there wasn't enough), we could see them becoming friends and falling in love instead of quick cut-scene with music, running away at the end of ep5 could have been made more believabl cause Tanrak agreed to it far too quickly compared to running away from Barth all ep, etc etc
