What do you mean? I watched EP2 last week and it wasn't the same as EP1. And I just checked oned.net and everything seems the same as then. There's no official subs for EP3 still tho. I wonder when they'll add them :c

It's not exactly what I expected but I guess it's on me for not being familiar with the original manga. I ended up liking this series anyway tho. Touki's relationship with his mom was so heartwarming! Good parents who love their children is something I really like to see. They even managed to make me shed a tear which is not an easy task

I'm so glad I read your comment because I was so stressed to watch the rest of the series as I'm in the middle and it looked like they're trying to pair them together I can now watch the rest without worry haha thanks

this is like jealousy trope repeated over and over again it's really tiring to watch... honestly the only good thing is the chemistry between the actresses

I was worried that my social media-starved brain wouldn't be able to handle such an old drama but it's so crazy and there's so much happening that I had fun watching it. Highly recommend giving it a go if you haven't seen this yet!

Oh it was so bad haha They really managed to make it feel like those 2000/10s movies and I say it freshly after watching those older movies. And Gii is just as awful and annoying as he was, in some aspects he is even worse somehow, I hate him with a passion. That being said... I hope they're gonna film more!

My biggest issue tho is how they resolved parent redemption side plot. Parent redemption must be a very difficult subject as I rarely see it done well, but here it irked me even more than normally because my grandmom was a similar mother to the main character's mother

It's hard to say anything about this movie without giving away spoilers. I think it's definitely worth watching (just check the trigger warnings Nicksden kindly listed on his page). I liked the acting, the atmosphere of the movie, the pacing and suspenseful element of something being strange with the family the main character works for, very interesting.
