I need everyone that didn't read the novel to know what Gao Tu thinks about this unwanted ummm 'incident' with…
(It's from chapter 59) "Shen Wenlang had given him unrequited love and terrible sex." I haven't watch it yet but I feel like this one sentence will add to your experience lol
Trigger warning: rape in episode 3 (in around 28min to 33min) Prime mentions triggers but not this one, which is a shame because it was too graphic for me. I would have preferred to mentally prepare myself beforehand
Oh this might be very difficult since it's so old, you might have to look for it on Japanese streaming services. On 家なき子 wikipedia page there's link to Hulu so maybe it's still avialable there? Anyway wishing you luck in your search!
there's also airing now B.Friend on WeTV (it disappointed me personally but maybe someone would like it?), Second Take on YT and next week we're gonna get Harmony Secret
The director confirmed she doesn't haven't DID. I really do wonder what happened to the girl's mother. It would…
Honestly it doesn't matter what director said, what matters most is what we see on the screen. All characters keep repeating she got DID... and they did a terrible job portraying this condition. DID is already very stigmatized in media we really don't need more of that.
Is it just me or this series has really wierd message so far? I'm not sure if I can express my thoughts well in english, but Yo literally did nothing wrong - he's just a little stubborn and hot-headed. Like none of the major problems he caused are entirely his fault or responsibility, and yet he's portrayed as a bad son for causing problems for his parents. He attacked a creepy teacher to save some kid in result got kicked out of school; fell in love with a woman who was taken but he didn't know she wasn't single, let alone that she was with someone in position of power; and now he got bullied and just tried to protect himself - yet somehow for all of this he is told to apologise and that he did wrong? I just don't get why they thought "you should be calm and quiet, and lay low ,and if you're not you should apologise for your existence, and if something happens that could make people talk behind your parents' back you're a bad child" is a good message instead of something more healthy and logical like "while something happens try to think before acting" and "agression is not always the best answer" and "when parents try to help you get back on your truck by sending you to school, think about it before dismissing their idea"?
