For some reason the music in this drama really reminds me of 100 Days my prince (another excellent period drama with D.O from EXO)! Both of them were written so well with just the right mix of characters, drama, and romance!

I have loved him since 100 Days my Prince with EXO's D.O. His presence always added more to the show as he worked to complete his investigation for the king. He has been shining even brighter in his latest dramas.

So far so good. ML was very distracting doing his odd jobs around town with his perfectly lip balmed lips! I have loved both leads in other shows so am anticipating a great one. The seaside location is so beautiful. I enjoy ensemble dramas where the rest of the actors add color and warmth to the main story.

He was only upset because he thought she had already been having an affair before him. So tried to shame her and say that the daughter would be better off with him. What a prize he is! 😳

Definitely think Sa Pi-Young ends up with her co-worker Mr. Seo. I think because she had no living parents his brother walked her down the aisle. I think it would be awesome if they had a child together.

Exactly! Looks like a setup for Season 3. I think I figured out some of what they are planning though. I do think it's somewhat manipulative the way the last few minutes went down.

What a great version of this story. The characters and their ability to come across as real (flawed yet lovable) is what really made this show stand out. There was just the right mix of fantasy, comedy, drama, sadness, and of course love. I agree with another reviewer that the openness and vulnerability of Dam played perfectly against the jaded life of 999 year old gumiho. I highly recommend this show! The ending was satisfying and tied up all the loose ends.

I also saw all seasons of the original British show with Gemma Chen and it was definitely impactful. It feels with do many issues such as slavery, free will, and technology and how it affects humankind. The movie Bicentennial Man starring Robin Williams also explored many of the same topics (but at a much slower and more thoughtful pace).

Even now there is a strong difference in cdramas, jdramas, and kdramas. I find material from Japan usually more introspective and slower (and often not as popular), Chinese material often sentimental if it's not from a web source, and Korean shows often over the top. Yes, they can each have elements from the other but they have a general time. Even Taiwanese dramas have a different feel for me overall from mainland China ones. The point is that I do worry about the pull of the western audience who often can't tolerate even a day wait for subtitles. I love the production value and storylines of most of the dramas. It would be a shame if they began to cater to a more mixed audience and left their core values and drama storylines behind.

Based on the timeline it's hard to tell since she was obviously lying from the beginning of the pregnancy and spending lots of time with the patient at the hospital. He still never acted on it even after the co-worker made her move until the FL sent the ring back.

Technically the FL broke up with him by sending her ring back. He did not actually do anything with his co-worker until he was devastated by the break-up.

The guy in the suit was technically the night guard but he sure dressed well for a guard! His constantly egging the ML on to have a relationship with his co-worker was a bit out of line.
