Probably a Japanese drama. I remember watching a Japanese drama ... something similar where the brother is not…
I also just finished cdrama "Unstoppable Youth" and it also had a similar plot where his parents died and he was taken in by her family and raised as her brother. He had slowly also fallen in love with her.
I can't believe this is the same Bai Lu that was in Lucky's First Love. Her hairstyle and acting are tons better. I finally figured out it was her because I recognized her voice. Leo and Luo are also great in this drama. Interesting premise on the storyline.
Did you manage to get the special EPs I watched it over the past two days and need to see the specials with Eng…
I gave a detailed explanation of where to find them with English captions elsewhere in these comments. Unfortunately you can only watch all three on the iQIYI app if you are one of their VIPs.
This is set at a time before the last scene in the official series. Zhao Xiaotang and Mu Hai are getting married…
Like most Asian entertainment companies, they try to offer value to their VIP subscribers. The three specials were specifically meant to be VIP rewards (I did a bunch of research on this topic and the original posters for the specials clearly indicate they were for VIP subscribers).
All 24 episodes are on Netflix and I think I watched the special on youtube
There are actually three specials/movies wrapping up all the storylines for the couples. I have already explained it elsewhere on these comments that all three are only available on the iQIYI app to VIP subscribers.
You captured many of my own thoughts. All of the actors were perfect for their role. The children were funny and compassionate at the right times, the parents perfectly cast, and the adult version of the children accomplished in their own rights. This drama really pushed the envelope on many fronts. Saying that chosen families are just as good, if not better, than many biological families. That smothering and trying to control other people usually does not get you what you want at the end. That kindness, compassion, and love can go a long way to heal a hurting or broken heart.
I love the romance because Ling Xiao hasn't hidden it at all all these years; it's just so subtle in everything…
I think this is one of the key reasons that they gave both brothers a long break away from their sister. Even though they are all biologically not related the producers knew a certain subset of the audience would be put off by the idea.

I do like the overall tone. It just seems odd that randomly each one makes those comments. If the lead or one specific woman did them all it would seem more genuine.
I just love the chemistry the girls have with each other and the reflections at the end of each episode. Similar…
I am actually not a fan of the reflections since it's not in one voice. It's randomly being done by one of the women. The show overall is really good though.
