He's actually quite silly, tbh. That's how his character is written I think. Him losing his powers amplified that silliness cause now there are no powers to save him from his embarrassing moments, lol.

Remember his response when being asked how it feels to be immortal, "Its feels pretty amazing"...yep, and him showing middle fingers to gangsters after losing fight LMAO! Believe it or not, our demon is quite childish 😂😂😂

Regarding killer's capabilities, its not this drama only, its an issue present generally in most kdramas, be it CLOY, YWCFTS, IHYV or even FoE. I don't mind it tbh because romcom is the focus not the mystery. But still here's the reason,

First, the killer is an experienced killer, he is adept at lockpicking, hacking, forensics and stuff, that's why he is able to break through houses and invade other spaces.
Second, the killer is gaining intel from someone from the inside, that's why he is a step ahead of our leads.
Third, the police is filled with dumb caricatures incapable of capturing a pickpocket let alone a serial killer. Unless someone presents them with killer's location on a silver platter they won't take action.

Tbh, you need to stretch your suspension of disbelief a little bit more in this area.

DDH can't start a formal investigation on her own, she needs family's approval. She was slapped by the pretentious sister as soon as she brought that iirc.

Why she is not starting a private investigation, it's because she is trusting Demon to do that, she believes Demon with his powers would be much more helpful than a human.

That's not a secret room tbh. Even when DDH came before she was able to enter there easily. The relevance of those clocks could only be understood by the Demon himself, so locking that room was not necessary.

His study was left insecure because, first, SunWol is a small foundation, they don't have the threat model of large corporate businesses and second, the demon himself protected his study when he had his powers, he didn't need to hire a security. The lack of security was an oversight on demon's part due to chaos that ensued after losing his powers. Our demon is not perfect, he makes mistakes, pretty massive ones.

Exactly! Love the FL. I didn't find her cringe at all, i found her cute tbh. And people need to understand her situation, she was literally blocked from love for all her youth. When we are denied something, we want it more. Imagine your mom denied you watching TV for the whole day, then even if you don't generally watch TV still you will want to watch it that day. This girl was denied love for YEARS! ML is the first guy who doesn't get hurt while being with her and she likes him too. Just imagine the desperation.
