Damn! Episode 11 was comedy gold, had me laughing on so hard on so many scenes. I almost threw up my coffee in one! ๐คฃ I don't understand why people don't like small wings cupid, I love him, he is funny af! *Gentle Gaze* ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Ohh, and on another note, the story finally seems to be picking up pace, didn't skip a single scene. ๐ Gotta commend the writer for FL's characterization, I love even her past life versions haha. Ohh ohh, and there's new OST in the end and a real sweet and beautiful scene to accompany it too. ๐
Who else loved the final reveal btw? Super satisfying right? ๐
If you want my honest opinion so far is - there won't be the exact situation shown in the original series, just…
Ohh! That sounds quite good tbh. Them ending up together or not could be both good or bad depending on writing and plot. I am fine as long as characterization is not a mess.
Thanks for feedback, I am hearing a lot of positive opinions, its time to start this ๐
honestly a cheating plot wouldn't make any sense here with the tone of the show or the way the characters have…
Yea that's my only worry, I don't want to get stabbed in the back at the last moment. Its good to know that the characterization is different here. Kdrama do write much better endings then jdrama imho.
Thanks for clarifying though, I am starting this, hoping for the best ๐
I like melo and am truly looking forward to watching this seeing the ratings, but will wait until I'm absolutely sure red flags from source are sorted out. Anyone have any definite answers regarding that? Spoilers are fine.
I am sorry but I understand that it might be frustrating for everyone that the leads aren't still together. But…
Too much hesitation, avoidance or denial is akin to cowardice. You either deny her straight up and completely or you accept her and your feelings and forward your relationship. Giving mixed signals helps no one. What SH is doing right now is stringing her along which, tbh, feels like an injustice to FL given her characterization. To say it simply, he needs to make a choice otherwise the act of not making a choice will become the choice in itself.
I don't blame the character though, problem lies with filler length and writing tbh,
1) When he hugged her back, episode 7 I think, remember the monologue? It was this iirc (paraphrasing) "Would you not regret liking me, hugging me, or kissing me even once?". At this point SH ran after FL and hugged her back. This scene was a pivot point for SH's character development, he finally owned up to his previous mistakes and decided to not do the same anymore. But no, we have him being completely oblivious in next episode.
2) When he kissed her back, this was episode 8's end I think, remember the developments? It was FL who initiated the kiss but it was SH who kissed her back. FL's kiss was just a peck tbh. But then the next day we again have SH acting all oblivious, for two whole episodes.
You understand me? This whole thing feels like 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Their relationship is progressing but at a very erratic pace. The FL is always waiting for the guy to make up his mind while the guy is busy giving her signals, then backing away and then ghosting her. That's cowardice imho.
Not to mention the long filler content which is making the romance lose momentum continuously. Lot of people complaining they don't care about romance anymore in comment section below, that's because romance lost its relevancy due to filler content.
omg the FL annoyed me so much in this last episode. I hate when they write FLโs that have zero survival skills.…
In this and in My Demon too, the first thing they suspected was that the guy is an immortal, or a demon, or a monster, or a goblin or whatever.... like wth?! You see two people looking similar when ages apart, first thought: related by blood, second thought: random occurrence, third thought: plastic surgery....no one in their right mind would go suspecting the supernatural first thing.
Nana did good, but that punk rock stuff seemed out of place imho. I don't know what the writers or the directors…
Yea totally true, I also tune in after work to just relax without applying any logic or thinking much ๐
And btw, yea I can totally imagine Nana pulling off a rock guitarist persona in some music drama too, sorta like Ryeoun's character in Twinkling Watermelon heh
Did anyone else mention that the 1000th time she climbed up the mountain was actually when she forgot the photograph…
Its already proven that ML is her destined man, it gets proved in episode 10 right? I hope I didn't spoil it for you if you haven't watched latest episode yet.
hmmmmm, not enough romance happening in ep 10 which is a bummer considering that this should be the turning point…
Tbh episode 8 should have the turning point, the developments in episode 7 set up a real good opportunity for it being decisive episode. Okay, you missed episode 8's window, no problem! But at the very least do it in episode 9. But no! We're at episode 10 and their (ML and FL) relationship is still the same...
thinking about dropping this, liked the beginning and their chemistry, but for me the plot got annoying and sometimes…
I kind of understand you since I'm might be in the same boat too.
Romance has been literally disappointing after episode 7 imho, with episode 9, 10 having close to zero romance. But, tbh, I would suggest skipping stuff rather then dropping altogether since the story atleast seems to be going good.
Its okay tbh, don't watch with skyhigh expectations as comments above mentioned or you will be severely disappointed.
There are some likeable moments and also some not so likeable moments. Pacing's an issue but the overall story is good. I would say go in with a mind to watch romcom without any expectations or maybe just expecting a fresh story, this will be a decent watch.

At the very least, I'm happy that they didn't go the idiotic cliche route, I can skip through the filler content if needed lol
And btw, yea I can totally imagine Nana pulling off a rock guitarist persona in some music drama too, sorta like Ryeoun's character in Twinkling Watermelon heh

Filler content is boring me but overall story I don't think is half bad.
