Rather than repetitive, I also find them incoherent tbh. We're already at episode 13 and the past life events are still not clear. Some flashbacks are just stills of multiple scenes combined into one, like watching a youtube short or a gif.

The whole trope is excessively repetitively used to the point of extensive boredom tbh. Just imagine in this same drama, if there was no past life connection wouldn't that have been a breath of fresh air. Something a bit like goblin where FL and ML has no past life connection but definitely a fate connecting them.

Exactly, had me wondering too why the heck does everyone have access to that room. And even if they had access why did they not access it for 12 whole episode....

Ohh btw, loved the actress who played FL's highschooler past life, that was some damn good acting! Loved how she portrayed her vibrant personality. I think it was Kim Do Ah iirc. Also the one playing her joseon period past life did great too.

Nitpicking about episode 13 here, really it was a good episode but that doesn't stop me from finding faults here and there lol.
Skip if you don't like nitpicking.

- Remind me pls, what is that room, the one with rings and paintings, and why is it accessible to everyone? And why is everybody just randomly coming there to find evidences of ML being cupid, were these people sleeping for 12 whole episodes?

- The 2ML being convinced in ML being some supernatural entity is really weird and unnatural. The FL, even after having past memories, shows much more natural reaction in her coming to terms with supernatural. A better transition would be for 2ML to discover some concrete evidence of ML being cupid and then going through a phase of questioning his sanity.

- If the killer's height doesn't match the suspect in jail, the police chief can't deny further investigation just saying that there is no accomplice. But, conveniently, everyone just mentions it once then forgets about it.

- So the arrow got full then it got back....okay.....But why is Dong Koo the only one affected? Everyone else became normal right?

Is it just me or the quality of this drama has upgraded by miles and bounds in the last few episodes?
Talking abt episodes 11 to 13 specifically here.

Story, acting, direction, production, cinematography and especially the OSTs, everything has just been top notch. The stark difference in quality makes me question is it even the same drama that was boring the crap outta me in episode 9 to 10 lol. The mystery has been a bit lackluster, but tbh I don't watch romcom for mystery, I watch it for romance and drama.

I would say his real nature is coming out now. I was hoping for him to grow out of his past life's persona and become a new and better personality altogether but guess that won't be happening.

Their chemistry is good but it shifts tbh, depending on the episode. Sometimes its really good but sometimes its insufferable, like in the last few episodes.

Because who else can it be? Think now, there are not many characters that can be killer right now.

1) Killer can't be one we haven't seen.
2) Killer can't be one of the supernatural beings, cupids or otherwise.
3) Killer can't be one with screentime equivalent to a guest appearance.

Not many suspects are left, right 😃

I will throw in a new theory, the killer is that cop who was assigned to protect BR. Random guess, yep....let's see how writers pull it off.

The two other cupids contributed to arrow getting completed and ML going into 28th metamorphosis.....that's not even close to positive!
Dong Koo atleast intentionally or unintentionally helped out our ML by extending his stay on earth. If not for this guy messing up so many love lives, our ML would have already went to metamorphosis and FL would've had to wait another 500 years to meet him. 😂😂😂

Ahh, I now see what you mean, his actions were definitely inline with his overprotective characterization. Completely forgot that due to him acting normal for the last few episodes lol.

Still there are problems with events in last few scenes. I can't exactly pinpoint it but something doesn't fit right. For eg, the guy in prison have been there for quite some time and the killer could have approached FL anytime. Yet he approaches her right when ML learns the real killer is roaming free? That's too many coincidences!

Maybe I'm just a little bit more sensitive towards such tropes due to already watching them in so many other dramas but had to stretch my suspension of disbelief a bit there.

Not in front of so many people and that too directly at the clinic lol, I think killer has that much basic common sense lol. And even if killer approached her, he not gonna attack her there lol. I think a better sensible action would have been to see who she is talking to first, she is a vet at a clinic she would be talking 30+ people each day if not more...but they had to 'dramatize' that moment needlessly, felt forced and weird tbh.

Jokes aside, I hated the 2ML's character first, looked like a pretentious arrogant f*** tbh. But he grew on me slowly, kudos to actor for that. The drive to find the killer and and practical approach towards the case gave depth to his character. And bromance moments between him and ML, though scarce, were pretty fun to watch.

Right now, he is turning more and more into his past life's idiotic and obsessed version and that's not good neither for the character nor for the story. Like, settle down, concentrate on your profession instead of bs supernatural and find a girl who actually likes you instead of loitering around like a nutjob. But I guess that won't happen or would it? 😂😂😂

Also how did the ML knew that killer is approaching FL? The only thing he discovered is that the guy in prison is not killer. FL is a vet at a clinic, the person talking to her could've been anyone literally. It's not like killer called ML saying "Hoooo! I'm talking to your girlfriend now! Save her if you can! Hooooo~~~!" or something of that sort 🙄

The awkwardness and cringe he is producing is what's so funny, so different from so many romcoms we've seen before lol.

I don't know about others but I think past life sequences could've been better. Right now a lot of things are unclear and the timing and connections are a bit messed up.

One series that did past life really good was Moon in the Day, but its present life was draggy af lol.
