Really like the 2 latest eps. Their relationship is developing well with good understanding, no drama and above all, good acting with minimum cringe. I'm liking all the happenings in the skate side as well. Although we know what will happen eventually, it will be nice to see them overcoming the hurdles and support each other along the way. It's all about the journey and I'm liking it.
I really hate coach Xiao. Why did he force Zhengyi to do the 1,500m race? I understand he is sorry for Xiaoyi's…
He's driven by guilt which became his goal/obsession. I don't think he's a bad person, but in his current mental state, he'll keep making decisions he'll regret later. On the other hand, maybe he already knows what he's doing is not good as a coach, but he continues to so so because of that goal. Guilt + obsession, not a good combo for sound mental state.
If you've watched upto ep 17, you would know the reason why he gave special training to Xiao Yi.However, it's…
The first part of my reply was in response to yur point about coach Xiao being a pervert. As to him being an incompetent coach, like i said earlier, i agree with yur point.
I odn't know who the hell made Xiao a coach. His actions clearly of a pervert ... why would on earth he give special…
If you've watched upto ep 17, you would know the reason why he gave special training to Xiao Yi. However, it's pretty clear that he doesn't have the qualities of a good coach, at least for a group sports.
Character On episode 1, Da Li appears to be a promising young genius art curator. However, the writer decided…
I personally felt this was believable and not out of character at all. As was mentioned a few times; Dali, despite being educated and promising in the art world, she has never faced the harsh reality of the business/political side of things. She was never prepared for this kind of world. Since her adoption, her life has been all about study and art, a rosy road. All the background ugliness was handled by her father.
On the contrary, Moo Hak grew up in that harsh world and was a perfect companion/catalyst for Dali's growth.
Does this make it a Cliché'? Yes, but my point is that the characters weren't shoehorned for the sake of fitting the story.
The only problem I've with the drama was the gallery/green belt/Tae Jin storyline which felt dragged out.
I havent seen the episode yet so dont know what do you mean, but I have seen JKY in alot of dramas and he is one…
My bad, i wasn't clear about the context of my comment. What i said r based on what I've seen of his acting on search www and gumiho. He's surely eye candy and not a bad actor per se, but i didn't see much variation. However, this is purely my opinion and it would be a pleasant surprise if he does well here.
I'm sceptical about JKY's acting ability to pull off a complex/serious character. Even though i wouldn't say his acting is bad, I'm not convinced by it either.
Initial impression after 5 eps: The editing seems a bit off. I was confused about continuity between episode 4 and 5 but someone below clarified that it was an upload mistake from kisskh. Despite this, I think the editing/flow could be better. The transition between scenes are very sudden without much explanation and I feel that the pace could be slower. For example, after entering the uni, the leads n FL's crush have a rehearsal for the first time and the teacher just asks them to perform/rehearse. However, there's no discussion/script on what they are supposed to do, why there's only 3 of them out of the entire class, etc.
Not going to drop for now but I'm not getting the feels here.
Shiyi reading "Throughout my life, I've never let anyone down but Shiyi", then the momentary happiness followed by grief. What an outstanding and impactful acting by Bai Lu. She deserves a standing ovation for this.
hmm.. as someone who haven't watch one and only, i don't find forever and ever to be confusing.actually i've been…
Same here, I didn't want to watch sad ending of ONO so I watched FNE first. After watching FNE, I watched ONO which made the beautiful tragedy more bearable :D.
The last three episodes are so painful and sad to watch. Oh my god..
The only reason I felt "less" sad was because I watched FNE before this. Watching FNE after watching ONO again has a different feel. It's like, you can feel why the leads has such affection/attraction for each other despite their lack of interaction in the beginning. Also, it all makes sense when FL tells her mother why she felt she wanted to (and did) say yes to ML's proposal.
If Bai Lu doesn't win an award for this, it would be an absolute travesty. I felt her pain when she learnt of ZSC's death, I cried and clapped at the same time for her brilliant performance.

Here's hoping it goes well despite my scepticism.
