i genuinely don’t understand why y’all are switching up and hating on YiFan. are we even watching the same drama? she has been alone since her father died and she’s been SA three times. her life is full of traumas and she’s not used to being happy, she’s used to runway because life keeps playing those tricks on her. yes, i understand that she could’ve been totally honest with SangYan. but one person that lives through all of this, can’t rely on anyone & they always think that can’t burden anyone with their problems. they want to be the only one who shoulder everything that keeps happening to them. maybe it’s reckless for her to think that the best decision in order to protect SangYan is to disappear on him - but she cannot erase what happened to her for the past years & she thinks that SangYan deserves much better.
i feel like people are forgetting that love is not enough to fulfill the void that she has been feeling since her dad died. it’s really complicated to try and live a normal life, when her past keeps getting on her way & all those feelings that she felt are all back to the surface. she loves SangYan and she knows that she can trust him, but it’s not that simple… if you never had any trauma in your life, you don’t even have to right to call her out for her actions!
after watching 5 episodes, i’m really loving this so far! but i don’t like Qi Qi’s character at all… it really feels like she only befriended Huan Er just because she was close to Song Cong..
Zhang Ruoran always nails her characters, and a big part of that is her super unique and cute expressions. That’s why she’s my absolute favorite actress!
Doesn't the FL seem a bit too timid and under confident for a journalist?ZRN has played a role of journalist before…
I think it really depends on different perspectives. i’m also very timid and under confident and my career requires for me to be more confident and talkative! sometimes i think my shyness ruins some opportunities for me, but once i’m focused on my job, i can get thru it! yifan is really good at her job & once she needs to do her job, she seems very confident and professional to me!
