yes.. thats why I think it´s suicide. I hope I´m wrong because otherwise I will feel 10x sadder with her death. Maybe YingZi felt so guilty, thats why she can't overcome this trauma...

it could also be that they met this time and YiFei was really sick, everyone knew about it and didn't tell YingZi. if that´s the case, she wouldn't know that she was dead since the last time she saw her, she said she was going abroad... but I don't think this what happened, because how could we explain that Guan Chao married someone else, even knowing that he deeply loves YiFei... I think she died in high school, s!cide or something happened because of her mother issues

i think that was just her imagination. I think she died after they ended high school, maybe after JY went to London.. JY has been writing those emails for 12 years and if YiZei wasn't writing anything, she could've mention when they met.... she also imagined YiFei at the wedding table! if you rewatch the scene when they met in real life, you can see YiFei motivating YingZi to find everyone and get the group back together... she also had this dream in the last episode, where she was calling YiFei and she dissapeared in front of her (notice the hairstyle, its the same when she's younger!)

this is truly a snowball effect, bc if they resolved this at the beginning, we wouldn't be were we are right now.... we didn't even get to enjoy their dating era bc this BIG MESS will change everything up, and I know they'll drag this one for a while. it while also take some time for YingZi to fully trust on JiangYi again.....

about this whole YiFei situation, it was not okay to keep dragging this situation and keep deceiving YingZi for 12 years. even if she suffered a emotional blockage, a memory repression or even dissociative amnesia due to the trauma, it would have been better if they tried to be honest with her. we still don't know what it truly happened to YiFei, but imagine how YingZi will feel once she knows her best friend is really dead, that her friends fed into her alive imagination of YiFei and even JiangYi deceived her for many years and kept lying until the last minute...

I know that they wanted to protect her, but lying isn't the best option at all. If she didn't found out by herself, she would still be in this delusion state of believing that YiFei is still alive and JiangYi would keep lying... I love JiangYi and I understand that he did all of this to protect her, but he already knew what she was going thru (even read all her emails that have must contain some personal things) and didn't even reach out to her ONCE in 12 years? I know he was hurt, but she needed him and tried to contact him multiple times...

it’s not a guy after the fl, it’s a girl after the main lead! and yes, she’ll still go after him after knowing that they’re dating..

people are dramatic for no reason, the ending wasn’t even bad! i liked it. i would hate to be recognized as someone’s girlfriend and not for the career i studied and worked hard for. so i feel like the female lead just stood up for herself and decided it was time for her to be known as a LAWYER and not his girlfriend. she had the opportunity to avoid being QH shadow and she took it, and i applaud her for that.

so it’s not that she doesn’t like him the same way he likes her.. she likes him, but she had to solve this problem before it ended up being a bigger snowball. it’s very frustrating for her to have all this rumours spreaded in the beginning of her career, so i’m glad she solved all her problems and worked even harder to be just herself. imagine if they broke up, people would start to spread rumours about her being an awful lawyer and for benefiting or having special treatment just because she’s QH’s girlfriend!
