i understand, that’s why i said my opinion was formed based on the eight episodes i’ve watched. traumas can change people and maybe what happened after they got apart, it really affected her personality. i totally agree with you regarding the part that people grow out of their childhood and i feel like ying zi is still stuck on the memories they had as teenagers. that’s why she keeps remembering things of the past and trying to reconnect them all or try to do things like they did before.. i feel her, but people move on with their lives and it’s understandable that mingyu has no time for that… but i feel like sometimes she’s a little bit cold with them.. she keeps saying that she’s occupied at work and then she’s still going… but let’s see what happens in the next episodes!
i had few expectations to this drama and let me say that i’m HOOKED. it’s really good! it gives me vibes of replay 1988, i felt so comfortable/cozy/ warm while watching, it was an unforgettable experience and now i’m feeling the same with this drama! and it’s super funny, i absolutely love the main leads

i absolutely adore you for speaking everything i was thinking! people should stop complaining and just appreciate this good romcom. obviously we want some kiss scenes, but i bet we will get them later, but she’s shy & never been in a relationship, it could be overwhelming for her to kiss in the beginning of the relationship. i don’t condone this because i’m absolutely the same in real life, so that’s why i found it very realistic! 🥹
i feel like their relationship is somehow realistic (removing the boss and employee - work relationship to a couple). they were used to each other as ‘roommates’ and only had a work relationship, that’s why even tho they like each other, they’re building up their relationship slowly! it’s also the first relationship for both of them, it’s just an unknown world to them.. how to take care of each other, express their feelings! it’s all overwhelming. but they’re doing great, i love this couple so much!!!
