i skimmed through the eps and.... maybe cuz i usually don't watch these type of dramas, but this feels like a wattpad novel brought to life lmao. the title "take by force" is legit, guys.
this is basically about the ML trying to drag FL back to be with him. he's aggressive, extremely posessive over her, chokes her a few times, forcefully kisses her, tries to have s* with her, and has anger issues. meanwhile the FL always looks scared and unwilling. is this supposed to be love 😭
thankfully the ML's abusive actions start to die down after several episodes but i'm still appalled.

i don't know many actresses so i can't say LOL. but since xiang liu (lyf) and shangguan qian (mjty) are a couple of my favorite characters, i do wonder what a tan jianci and lu yuxiao pairing would be like. both of them are very charming after all.

i honestly have the same sentiment ☹️ weibo award feels more like a popularity or appreciation award. i guess everyone will get an award as long as their drama/character was a success, no matter how they acted. it's most likely to prevent fanwars, hate, and repeated wins but still... how can an actor/actress who still needs improvement be given the same or similar award as an actor/actress who embodied their characters and showed a wide range of emotions?

i'm just happy for tan jianci because, if we ignore the fact that basically everyone else got one too lol, he truly deserves all the awards (trying to not sound biased but it's not my fault that my favorite actor just excels at his craft ;)
