I'm sure they have been women right since WW2 , what awareness? All these have been done over 80 years ago feminism…
what men think feminism is: women > men what feminisim actually is: women = men
funny how you assume that women have more rights than men now, when the reality is that they're just starting to get the same rights that men always had.
are you just upset because you have to share your toys now? it's okay, i understand how you feel cuz i have five siblings.
i love how nanno gives the characters more than one opportunity to admit fault and take responsibility. when they still insist on continuing, that's how you know they truly deserved their karma.
removed two points because of the lacking plot and character developments. as its own season, i expected it to have a completed story, not to be left on a cliffhanger ending having to wait months for season 3 π€¦ββοΈ
first, gihun. the first two episodes had me feeling hyped cuz he looked like he was ready to take revenge fr! then i saw the later episodes and.... some of his actions were just plain dumb sorry. bro only worked on his physical abilities, not mental. after finding out that one of players in s1 was the creator, shouldn't he be wary of the players in s2? plus, he wanted to save the players, so why did he suddenly decide that killing off a few of them would be okay?
now the detective/tracking plot. junho my guy, you were so cool in s1 then useless in s2. all that ship sailing went absolutely nowhere. it's almost like they just wanted to give his character smth to do since they knew how popular he got in s1...!
lastly, i wish they dove deeper into each of the characters and their relationships, ex: hyunju, youngmi, and semi. we got some nice scenes here and there but it wasn't enough for me to build a strong emotional connection with them and therefore bawl when they got killed off like i did in s1 with ali, saebyeok, jiyeong, and even sangwoo. i also thought we were gonna get a scene with gyeongseok (player 246) and noeul (guard 011) but nope π
i still liked the show overall, just disappointed about some things. now the parts i liked: + more gong yoo screentime! + those two guys who followed gong yoo were funny. too bad they only appeared for a little bit + the bread or gamble scene and its significance + new and interesting characters (ex: noeul, a guard; junhui, a pregnant woman; hyunju, a transgender; and thanos, a bipolar drug addict?) + realistic characters (ex: minsu and daeho) + gihun and inho's very intriguing dynamic + hyunju slayyyy i love when she shot the cameras + the mingle game β the concept ofc, not the killings
of course... an ad hominem! how ironic when half of their watchlist is literally kdramas LMAO
why make it about the countries when OP never even mentioned it? your kdrama superiority complex and prejudice against cdramas is painfully obvious. maybe try staying on topic next time instead of letting your bias do all the yapping.
it's kinda not a sequel, it's the same drama, just under another name, according to sources, this is actually…
a while back, someone said that the dramas might be able to air back-to-back because the plots of the two parts are different and therefore count as two different dramas, but we won't know for sure until the time actually comes
No, it wasn't solely cuz of Jisoo. Majority of the criticism was directed at the writers for distorting South…
You're welcome! And the cast did get a lot of critcism back then for starring in this drama (it's just that many fans still defended them/the whole situation). Jisoo unfortunately got the brunt of it since she's the most well-known cast member here.
man the way this show was treated didnt fucking deserve , all because a kpop idol is there didnt sit right with…
No, it wasn't solely cuz of Jisoo. Majority of the criticism was directed at the writers for distorting South Korean history. For example, the drama portrayed the Agency for National Security Planning (represented by the characters Kang Moo and Han Na) as likeable people who simply wanted to get rid of North Korean spies, when in reality, that agency tortured innocent lives *under the excuse* of ridding North Korean spies. Also, there are some names in the drama that sound similar to real-life people who were involved in those incidents.
i wish that she could stop doing dramas and any other public activities for at least six months to focus on herself and her health. it's really tough being a celebrity in an industry with such extreme standards and spiteful netizens.. π
