i hate how fang xie wen lets his mom criticize rose. like when she badmouths rose in korean, FXW deliberately translates it into positive words. yes, he does tell her to stop sometimes, but his tone is not firm enough. even when rose tells FXW her concerns about his mother, he defends her saying "well she came all the way here to help us" like im pretty sure rose does not gaf bruh. she'd rather be alone than breathe the same air as your mom.
i don't think FXW is a completely awful person but he needs to step it up if he wants this relationship to work. be firm, speak up, and set boundaries.
eta: i take my words back. after 26 and 27, i ABSOLUTELY DETEST FXW. he's really following his mother's words. he shouldn't be pressuring to rosie to have another kid just cuz he wants a son when SHE's the one that's gonna be suffering carrying the baby and giving birth, and he shouldn't be restricting her freedom / entrapping her into the mother/wife role. FXW, money is not the only reason rose wants a job. all these years as a couple and i wonder if FXW even knows rosie by heart.

me too i heard about the JITD situation. it'd be nice if japan could also pick up WIK and the other unreleased BL dramas so we can watch them, but i have a feeling it's not gonna be that simple... who knows if we'll be lucky enough to get it 🥲
