another good sign... and thank you for uploading it! i keep forgetting that we can do that haha

not watching this drama but just wanted to comment: as i scroll through douyin, i see that dai luwa's "错了" (cuò le) (wrong) is gaining quite the attention. even some people are trying to re-enact it haha

they posted a happy birthday pic for wang churan. https://v.douyin.com/ifhnM22d/

it's solid proof that they're not abandoning this! (at least not yet lmao)

happy birthday churan 🥳

very unfortunate :(

if the link doesn't work, you can search 五福临门 on douyin and it should be the first account that pops up

the changes cant be that bad.... right? 😭 oh well i'd rather see this drama get released rather than never

i don't know many actresses so i can't say LOL. but since xiang liu (lyf) and shangguan qian (mjty) are a couple of my favorite characters, i do wonder what a tan jianci and lu yuxiao pairing would be like. both of them are very charming after all.

wow this cast has a lot of familar faces for me....
lu yuxiao (mjty), xuan yi (wjsn), liu xue ning (gugudan/the double), winwin (nct), li yunrui (blossom), and wang xingyue, liang yongqi, zhao qing (all also from the double)

besides mjty, also check out yin yang master: dream of eternity. they have the same director too

ran over here because i heard that the OP song is "peach blossom promise," one of my fav chinese osts ahaha

but the synopsis seems quite interesting. is this a good watch so far?

i miss you, chang xiang si 💔 sigh gonna go re-read the novel again

agreed!

i honestly have the same sentiment ☹️ weibo award feels more like a popularity or appreciation award. i guess everyone will get an award as long as their drama/character was a success, no matter how they acted. it's most likely to prevent fanwars, hate, and repeated wins but still... how can an actor/actress who still needs improvement be given the same or similar award as an actor/actress who embodied their characters and showed a wide range of emotions?

i'm just happy for tan jianci because, if we ignore the fact that basically everyone else got one too lol, he truly deserves all the awards (trying to not sound biased but it's not my fault that my favorite actor just excels at his craft ;)

it will.... hopefully 🤡

one of WeTV's recent social media post said "which drama are you most excited for in 2025?" and this drama was listed as one of the options

y-you mean the old g-grandpa?

a little late but congrats to yang zi and li xian for winning national favorite actor at weibo night 🥳

congrats 檀健次 for winning most influential actor of the year award at weibo night 2025 <3

he deserves all the awards imo hahaha

got even more excited for this drama after seeing clips on douyin. zhou ye and cheng lei look great together!
