When Xiao Yao was upset and confused about her identity, Jing grabbed the kettle to pour a bowl of tea/water and offer it to her, while Cang Xuan straight up offered her a jug of wine without even pouring it into a bowl. Jing offered his drink first and more enthusiastically than Cang Xuan, but Xiao Yao chose to drink Cang Xuan's wine instead. Even after taking a sip, she turned to look at Cang Xuan first.

I also just realized some cool details about their clothing in the scene. Jing's clothes are bright while Cang Xuan's are dark. On the other hand, Xiao Yao's clothes has light gray, dark gray, and black.

Yes I'm still pissed about their punishments. They should've reversed it! Whoever decided that is stupid for accepting Tushan Hou's statement that Fangfeng Yiying seduced him. It takes TWO to tango.

Zhang Wan Yi is a wonderful actor who portrayed Cang Xuan's complex feelings so well in Lost You Forever. His voice is beautiful and soothing too. Can't wait to see more of him!

Yeah we lost our scene stealer 😭 and Cang Xuan's arc is the next most interesting after Xiang Liu, but they're gonna water it down... I guess we have to just accept it

The episodes are getting boring now that Xiang Liu's major arc is gone. Cang Xuan is the only one who makes me perk up just a lil bit.

Also, drama Xiao Yao is so cold as a character. It feels like she doesn't even love or care for anything at all. She was a lot more emotional in the novel. And I love Xiang Liu but I'm not saying this just because of how she treats him, it's because of how she treats Jing too. When they broke up, she looked more bored than heartbroken or even just upset in general.

I read before that the staff told Yang Zi to not be so expressive so I won't blame her. It's just kinda hard to watch considering Xiao Yao is literally the main character. The drama made so many changes, it's disappointing 😭

Because if Xiao Yao and Xiang Liu end up together, then their story will be the same as Chi Chen and Xiling Heng - a tragic love between enemies. That's why the old man Uncle Lirong told Xiang Liu to let go of Xiao Yao, otherwise they'll fight each other on the battlefield like Xiao Yao's parents.

Xiang Liu is selfless and understands that Xiao Yao just wants a simple life so he lets her go, pushes her to Jing, and makes her think that he never loved her 😭

Ah Nian asks Xiao Yao, "Do you like Chief Chishui?" then BOOM the next scene is of Fang Feng Bei on the boat. After that, it switches back to Ah Nian asking Xiao Yao again.

Reminds me of when Ye Shiqi told Wen Xiaoliu to not have any other man in her heart, it switches to Xiang Liu coming to save him, then back to Shiqi and Xiaoliu.
