I read this novel half way and so far there's a lot of hot scenes I thought would be too much for lusi lol but I hope the script is tone down to moderate because I think dylan and lusi chemistry will do well in this action and romance drama as a couple if they both ended up to colab on this drama..

I'm reading the novel right now and at first I thought Lusi may not accept this drama for what I read there's a lot of intimacy and other characters transformation too,.. but if the romance is tone down a bit , I can only imagine Lusi and Dylan great chemistry is quite fitting as a couple in this drama. So I hope it will come true that they could collab in this drama, it's a very interesting story after all.

you're right , I'm actually in the middle of reading this novel, and this novel main leads is too hot to handle! lol I can't imagine Lusi able to accept this drama unless the script is tone down and refine to a lot less initimate ... but I can see Lusi and Dylan would make a great cp in this drama, it's a very interesting story after all.

I agree with WIFTY, I started watching it but the FL and ML is too young and act childish ; I just can't see myself watch some young love and school related romance story and ends with a wedding which is quite a cliche for romcom asian drama..

you could watch the Ep25.5 (special episode) , that one translate to yIhi University which was one of SangZhi dream to study in college...at least she plans to be close to Jiaxu. ;)

Agree there's maturity in their relationship. ShangZhi unwavering love to Jiaxu despite family disagreement of her relationship to Jiaxu and to Jiaxu his admirable respect to ShangZhi to still pursue her despite that he already know her true feelings towards him. Just totally love and heart fluterring modern cdrama I've seen I could relate in reality.

Appreciate your in-depth review, i can only agree and I feel HL gets better & better after half of the episodes which is their discovering and dating period, short series yet you feel contented of their ending or that feeling you want more of them.

I actually thought it at first but when I rewatch I zoom in her face and the red dots are just less noticeable but it's in her face lol

By the way, has anyone notice ZhaoLusi outfit in this drama? they're quite lovely and fashionable. I also like her accessories , she was even wearing at some point some Gucci and Chanel mini bag! Oh my I luv her taste in style. Finally in cdrama some fashion watch lol.. I watched some romcom modern drama before and sad to say some FL outfit is quite flat and out of style. I heard Lusi had to use her own wardrobe for this drama because of the budget cut. I totally admire Lusi for making things happened in this drama despite the challenges with budget cut and prior director abandoning this project. Imagine how many production crew will be out of job if Lusi didn't help out to complete this project, but her determination to provide for drama production outfit with her casts, even invited her friends to act despite challenges in schedule, Lusi even sings some of the OST , all this hard work she and the other casts made this drama a big success! I admire Lusi but never thought she would do this extra effort , she's totally on another level as a professional Actor ... and well for that lame director who have no faith in this drama, joke is on him , this drama is a big success and even trending till now, youku doesn't even deserve this success ... ❤️🔥

In this drama Sang Zhi family is considered rich (at least upper middle class) so they can just probably pay the penalty to have two children; I think it's not uncommon for rich family in China to bear more children prior to 2016; but this issue wasn't mentioned in the drama.
