just wait on that Episode in the aiport that she thought she was betrayed by him and she moved on and started University, Zhizhi totally ignored him and is only focus on her studies and what's best for her... and even he was trying to court her eventho she got a hidden crush on him, she still didnt confide her feelings and just foolishy abandon herself to him but felt her pride and self worth comes first and need Jiaxu to woo her first before she accept him as her bf lol.... I feel her I will do the same way too

In this story, Jiaxu is a workaholic ever since his dad jump off & comatose. in order to pay of his debt since the victim family kept harassing him ; then there is also this psycho girl harassing and insulting him , she also tells any girl connected to him about his family situation, his comatose dad , the hospital bills, his debt,.... which makes any man insecure to carry a relationship..... until ZhiZhi proves him wrong, Zhi told him he is amazing guy and to ignore other people's prejudice against him ...., Zhi believes in him as a man and she never discourage of his poor family situation but she instead protected him even from his family, Zhi's faith in him gave Jiaxu courage and made him a better person and a boyfriend to Zhi. On Ep25, you will hear all this confession from Jiaxu when he drop the question, it was quite emotional...made me teary eye lol ;)

Viewers need to understand that the pace in this drama is very crucial n the development of the main leads feelings and growing love towards each other otherwise we will be confused of the story's progress... and i prefer the pace it is now then having to rush adulthood and romance all over places.. that's just not realistic

the majority has already spoken and the ratings shows it all of how we love this drama but if it's not for you then it's not for you... no need to force yourself & criticize after all we all have our own preference in romcom drama. For us Hidden Love is one of a kind , a feel good drama to watch at the end of our tiring day...

Please don't generalize HL drama rating in China just because Douban which is a toxic hate camp for Lusi in every of her drama gave a ridiculous rating.. It depends on your preference, it seems the majority has spoken that they love this romcom drama, light plot, easily relatable love story from a young girl's crush to adulthood development romance, plus with Lusi and Zheyuan tandem their strong undeniable off/on screen chemistry made the entire romance drama realistic. Also the OST esp. Forever Star or Lusi's songs just play perfectly in the background , and still the song continously play in my mind even when I'm not watching HL drama lol .. i listen to their OST all the time when driving my car these days despite not understanding some of their lyrics... this is definitely a drama that affect our mood while watching... I smile and my hear flutters when these two leads interact 😍 and their intimacy is on🔥makes you think they're in relationship for "real"

exactly right , i notice for such a young age at 24 Lusi got a lot of business endorsement and while spokeperson for big brands as well like Bulgari, guerlain , sketcher...💕 she's also spokeperson for Tencent, ... and when it comes to acting she's multi talented in every genre be it romcom, martial arts, custome historical drama, xianxia, wuxia, republican, ... she had them all . She may look innocent & a silly girl at times, but she's dead serious in her career and a business minded lady. I'm really interested how her career looks and shines brighter as she age...

I dont think you would blame a 16yo girl puppy love , she is supposed to be immature at that age for anything love and any misunderstanding doesn't cost her anything since she never reveal her crush on him... But it was good for her to stay away from him after supposedly knowing that he has a "GF". She did the right thing and even more maturely admirable for her to move on and not to go after him and it even help Zhizhi mature at her age not to go after him with a GF in mind... I think that's better especially Jiaxu is living in another town ; so if Zhi puppy love on Jiaxu t was really difficult for her esp. he broke his promise to her then why would she still want to meet him and be in touch? It only shows how unselfish her feelings toward Jiaxu to even move on for Jiaxu happiness. Also don't you think it would feel awkward for Zhizhi to bother him in the presence of Jiaxu "GF" if he has? I would do the same best to keep distance from him for her own peace of mind.. and in the university she got no cellphone and she can only focus in her studies since she doesn't even know where Jiaxu location once she move to Jihe... But I always believe if fate is good to them, lovers will always meet somehow somewhere, if it's meant to be ... then they are meant to meet and become lovers 💕 that's why this show is realistic it happens in life..

from the BTS i saw, I think Zhao Lusi has a big say of what she needs to do in the set, like for example she requested that she doesn't go look for JiangMing at the basketball court to apologize for not coming to the movie date with them, she said it would not be right to come looking for him since ZhiZhi is not even interested of him as a suitor so it should be more of a coincidence JiangMing will call her while she passed by at the basketball court he was playing... which I also agree and is actually better then in the original script.. I like her thought process :) she should be a drama producer or director too someday... but as for hand slapping isn't a good one for a sweet ZhiZhi it's more violent, a water slapping to a water slapping is much better after all she's just returning the favor of what that psycho girl did to Jiaxu lol

same here hard to let go such feel good butterfly fluttering wholesome drama , i watched entire episodes in youko and now rewatching in netflix before going to bed LOL

she's still young before Ep5, so it's all about her crush & brother bickering but later she will focus on her studies esp. after assuming her crush got a gf... but this story is all about the developments between SZ and JX love story , where it all started from high school, writing her dreams in a paper made wishing stars for her to accomplish until she graduates in the University. If you prefer to have a story where FL also focus on other supporting cast or love rivalry then this story is probably not your cuppa tea, this is about the main leads where Zhizhi is determined to fulfill her dreams and her unwavering support to Jiaxu despite against all odds esp. from age gap, family issue, office drama and one psycho admirer of Jiaxu,,,, Zhizhi's feelings for JZ can be seen all out and strong which most viewers like the most; not so much pf those misunderstanding like other drama ending up heartbreaking at most.

Agree with that , Jiaxu cares too much of ZhiZhi that he keeps reassuring her that it's gonna be fine despite trouble ahead for not telling his buddy about their relationship .. and I like that Jiaxu kept his composure calm for Zhi, even the next day he wore a mask to avoid the bruises be seen by her , trying to show nothing happened between him and brother but nothing avoids the curious little demon lol

I agree there had been challenges when HL started filming esp. with China covid restriction at that time, but glad that this was just a romcom drama not heavy costume drama, so modern costumes, hunting for help has not been an issue for Lusi & her agency, she made things happens with her connection in the entertainment industry... Now with the Success of Hidden Love & its main characters being consistently on top of the chart in Vlinkage, Maoyan, Sine Entertainment, ... The Fruit of Labor tho it started shaky, all their hardwork paid off with the sweetest pleasure :) even before the drama was aired youko ended up almost 5M reservation. Happy for HL team
