When I saw her in #4 a few months ago, I thought that she should be on the top 2 ❤️ so I started sending flowers only to her just to appreciate how good an Actor she is.. I normally don't support actors as I'm too old for idol drama, but after watching Lusi's first early drama , her acting & chemistry with ML are brilliant and the fact how other fans tried to insult and spread false rumor about her I was even more determine to support her all they way up... No he's not in love with her when she's a kid... if you have really watch the show, He (Jiaxu) started to fall in love with her when she's in college at 19yo ... SangZhi has a secret crush on Jiaxu since high school and never revealed it to him until late in the last few Episode ending. of course I watched all of Lusi's drama LOL .. I also enjoyed the Dating in the kitchen and it was hot but this one drama is .... different intimacy level it's not just about the kissing but the overall coupling 💕
It all depends if you're into romcom drama and are able to releate to the story of this novel drama, though it's simple but it's quite heart fluttering with a good script flow, you'll see how SangZhi & DJZ relationship started and ends.. and sibling vibe Zhizhi & SangYan is quite funny and how wholesome & protective a family can be, the OST as well just blend in beautifully in the background which is a perfect combo in the drama. At least majority enjoyed this shows, and China just released their stats data for the Best drama in Summer 2023, HL is on the top and Youko congratulated the Hidden Love casts for it is the #1 in RomCom urban drama ...

I actually started WIFTY but drop it after Ep1-2.. I guess I'm not a kids school romance type of viewer and it doesn't mean wifty is boring but it's all a matter of taste.... for me HL story got a lot more maturity in the relationship goal, and CZY & ZLS chemistry off and on screen is undeniably sweet which made them perfect cp in this drama...

i agree HL is a romcom modern drama and not even a high budget drama... a different genre , that's why it's rated top 9.1 or this should be higher since this drama brings out emotion and realistic relationship vibe to majority of the viewers... from reading the reviews most can relate to this drama and it's not cringy, not a heavy drama or problematic love triangle but it's really heart fluttering and heart warming to see such a strong female lead trying to protect her gege , a teen age crush that turns into matured love is quite refreshing to watch :) after all not all of us experience serious true love from our teen age puppy love LOL
