Thanks I'm grateful and blessed,.. while I had my share of heartbreaks in life at least at the end when I least expected and wasn't looking anymore I found my one past my prime time LOL we were even in a long distance relationship like Zhizhi & Jiaxu while my man had to setup his business in another state so he could build a better future for us, I always believe that true love finds you when you least expected 💕

The point is , not only this is deserving for High rating and hype but also selected for Golden Angel Award in Chinese American TV Festival this year 2023.... is the drama they highly rated received any awards?? ppl need to understand that it may be simple but it's definitely a feel good rom com drama that you can rewatch a number of times 💕

I understand your confusion, Yan only says he's 26 to exaggerate the matter of their age gap (like buddies do when they want to make a point) but Jiaxu corrected him and said they're only 5 yrs apart... so meaning she's 19 fresh man & he's only 24. Hope this helps.

Truly deserve the high rating from the majority , if not 9.5 ... also this is not a fantasy but a romcom modern drama . Let's not forget Hidden Love was selected for the "Golden Angel Award" in the Chinese American TV Festival this year 2023... are they gonna ask too why it's been selected? ... it's because this romcom drama is that good for most if not all hence the high rating & award worthy..

Most of it too in HL was the strong chemistry of the main leads (captivating & hardworking Jiaxu and that strong minded yet sweet ZhiZhi) plus the siblings bickering was kinda relatable to me as well LOL ... Also HL story is only up to Ep 25, while go ahead Ep46 ? I get bored with that long episodes for a family modern drama .... As for rewatch? yep I probably rewatched Hidden Love 3x already , even last night I wanted to have that feel good vibe drama so I open netflix to continue HL rewatch for the 4x , this will probably my go to when i want some good vibe before going to bed unless there's another romcom that's similiar to this ❤️ lol

who knows it could have been in real life if you are determined as zhizhi and had spoken about your secret crush to him , who knows he felt the same way... what if right ? ;) I have a similiar & relatable story about their long distance relationship bet. zhi & jiaxu and I even laugh of the similarity of how zhizhi lay down the rules to make their long distance relationship works , as i did the same way to my bf then and I'm glad my bf was devoted to us and ended up married after 3yrs of separation while bf then was working to form up his own business for our future, i guess we're meant to be💕 love works in a mysterious ways LOL

Definitely ! i feel it's more relatable in life... we want a man like him and I'm glad I found The "one" ,now my hubby with similar traits ; hardwork, responsible and romantic at heart whewww even i'm married to him for many yrs he's still the most caring and romantic hubby for me except he no longer carrry my bag lol❤️

I always feel that their on/off screen chemistry in HL feels too real even their bts reuters .. you could see how much they enjoyed being together & the promotional posters the way they look at each others eyes it speaks louder than their voice LOL ..... and I can only speculate that they have feelings for each other but must hide it due to their career (Hidden Love for real 😂) .... anyway if in the future they do become "real couple" it would be the happiest day for fans who supports them 💕

we can take constructive criticism not destructive; ppl react when review as such is not helpful but personally/emotionally motivated. Any viewers can critize a drama but "overrated"? We all have different taste in dramas but criticizing why majority like or hype the drama and the leads chemistry as mismatched , even odd ? Better elaborate why their chemistry is mismatch & what ep ? there were multiple heartfluttering endearment bet. Mainleads, jiaxu romantic pursuit & their sweet kissing scenes? even their BTS off-screen interaction clips were viewed/reposted in social media a thousand times. I guess for someone who dropped HL, one will never understand why millions of viewers including celeb/kpop enjoyed this drama & rated HL high. HL is just a simple sweet romcom drama but impactful enough to those who enjoyed the show. Not a lot of modern drama as realistic as HL that takes viewers into heart fluttering zone to a romantic reverie of those dating days... 💕
