haa! After I watched EP27 with him smiling and closing his eyes.. i went away.had work... late at night I watched EP28 and I couldn't believe myself... he said, "I rest of the pillow you slept on and sleep on the mattress you slept on and cover myself with the quilt you just used.. So I suppose we shared a bed...after all"...... ROFL!!!
I swear... he is so adamant to go after her.. I really like it... he knew time is running out... if he were to go around asking for parents, hers or any others permission, its a gone case.. Han will marry her.. and ofcourse she also will agree bcoz she doesnt want to enter the Lin Family at all..

For me its a very sad thing for Laxiang... bcoz she cannot tell JQ anything, and so how to vent, so the slap and also the fact that she doesnt know what or how she is supposed to address them... she is going thought an emotional turmoil.. which he will never know... and she cannot tell... which is the sad part...

Yes Rest the brothers are all so good.. but I wonder taking Lin XiuWan the sister is wise... JinQi is very tolerant and forgiving... esp to his family...
Seriously enjoying this drama... its very different from the norm...!

I really liked the way the ep 27 ended... after all commotion he created the day.. finally he came and sat on the side room bed... and thought for sometime.. and he had a smile on his face... as if I have got my girl.. this is a new beginning... and humming bgm... was so awesome...!!

I dont think I have seen any ML taking so much flak on himself just to get his girl..

I was so impressed with todays episodes.. wanted go and rate but somehow the episode pages were not loading...!

She is not equal status, she grew up as a noble.. now adjusting and living like a commoner... that is a big effort.....from her side!
When she was a maid everyone accepted her as clever and kind,... but its the stigma of married a maid...is affecting... but I am sure... they will work it out..

Actually its so intriguing the way its written, you know how she will turn around and falls for him.... and all of us will follow.... very fascinating story telling....
btw... I feel so bad for LJQ, he is being ridiculed by everyone.....!!

The sad fact is... everyone will assume she is angry bcoz of she cannot marry Han.... no one knows what is hurting her, neither can she tell anyone..... what a situation...!

The story will come around to make the FL understand and love him back..... along with that... all of us will accept him.... I hope whoever wrote this is that good and skillful

Laxiang cannot express or tell anyone... what she is going throught marrying Lin JinQi and everytime she see those initials... she is so broken...! But slapping him infront of everyone on that occasion is totally trashing him down the drain....!

On one hand.. LJQ jump through hoops to marry her... He loved her and at the same time he also wanted to give her a good life... and other hand, she didnt want anything to do with Lin's.... but there is absolutely no way she can explain.... so JinQi will suffer silently... more..!

Actually if you think about it, JinQi never had a good life, if you remember once when Laxiang told him, common people's life doesnt come easy and he said softly even mine was never easy... All decision were made for him... he had to break off his engagement with JiaLan, Zhao family helped them survive that overdeal so he had to marry her... eventhough both of them hated each other... He was away 6 years fighting agaisnt Pirates

His father never appreciated him, infact used to ridicule him saying he is not educated.. but just a boorish soldier.. Wife was equally bad... she feels he should be grateful to Zhaos bcoz of them he is what he is otherwise would have died like the Shens.. . I remember him saying.. he will throw a festive parade to celebrate if she ever wanted a divorce.

Reading out the decree the reactions in both sides.. was so bad.. all are stunned.....

So in that aspect I was happy he finally did the most ridiculous thing to his family... marrying a maid he loves, he couldnt care less... come what may... enough is enough let me live the way i want...

But what if she turns out to be another Xingtang.... hates him till she dies... goodness!!

Then the whole thing is a built up of "how she was happy to settle with HAN and JQ forced marriage on her" theme...
JQ's every attempt failed.. he initially arranged housing for her... that fell through bcoz it was way too low rent that Laxiang doubted and ran away.... every time what all he tried always failed.... Poor fellow...!!

Yes he loves her.. but there is a much more serious issue.. that is that Duke family is full of ruthless mad killers.. who would never let her live in peace...

Lol!! I havent watched any KDrama... yet..!

She looked like a kid and he is widowed with a child I think, in the drama... I dont if its her hair or make up.. she really looked very small.. IRL he is 37
but those days.. it didnt matter.. woman didnt matter.. sadly

ML marries her not just bcoz he loves her... but also to save her, she got into trouble bcoz of him.. and the only way he could save her is by keeping her beside him... bcoz the people who are trying to harm her are seriously ruthless lot...!! they wont rest till they finish her off...

So many SML's melt our heart... but somehow I cannot accept Scholar Han... i dont think he deserves her...

Actually what he did for her is very very important for her...

ep 24 gave two very sad scenes for me..... one JinQi riding desperately past Laxiang to save her.. but missing her

Second when he stand outside their house listening to both of them singing... so sad!! really Liu Xue Yi is such an amazing actor...!!

Saddest and most disappointing turn of event was LJQ riding desperately past Laxiang... looking anxious...!!
why they had to write like that ... he knows how ruthless that Duke is.. he worries about her safety.. meanwhile our clueless guy gets the girl...!!

i know the story wants her to feel good about Han and dont care about LJQ.. but poor fellow has lots of good qualities.. but in a subtle way...
I liked the fact that he walked behind her all the way to her room, when she was drunk.. keeping a decent distance.. and treasure the orchids bcoz she said in her drunken stupor.. she loves the smell of orchid blooming at night...
He knows him showing any kind of affection will only bring disaster to her.. so he keeps his distance..

Well I think eventually she finds out many things he did for her safety and for her sake too.. I am not spoiling it for you by saying what he did.. but just saying in a round about way.. Youtube has plenty of previews.. of few coming episodes..

I don’t want her to marry and settle down with Han, living a miserable and boring life. Just look at the progress she made while working with LJQ—she brought freedom and a better future for her family. That is the life she should have.

She may think differently now because she has adapted to living as Laxiang and feels she can continue living that way. But deep down, she is still JiaLan—far too smart, clever, and educated to settle for a sedentary life with Han

Han is going to Qixia Academy because of her. Otherwise, he would probably be perfectly happy mopping around in Laxiang because that life is much easier for him!

Eventhough she is acting as Laxiang, who claims to have all some education got from the nunnery she ws getting treatment... we all know JiaLan was very clever and praised by all in her family for the way she handles everything...
So her life with Scholar Han will once again will be an act she carries on as Laxiant, he is too timid for her... instead of living to the full potential as JiaLan, which will only happen if she lives with LJQ, she may not accept him initially but we hope they will eventually be happy....!
